Me too. I am 73 and took up the guitar after not playing for about 55 years. Rob has inspired me to improve my playing and I am really enjoying playing music.
I'm 62 luckily I am passed all the agony of bar chords now they're easy now, it's inspiration I'm after,,Fennah is great for ideas and how to play the idea, good luck on your playing 🎉

"... and one and two and three ding dong"😂 You're not only a great teacher, you also have an ability to make us laugh. Thank you!
I am a blues lover and I tried to learn to play it. This video is just great, just what I was looking for, simple and very well explaned. Thanks a lot.
1 word Rob...................................................................................................................................................................BRILLIANT
Once again , Rob , beautifully explained . Thank you . For some strange reason , Red hot by Robert Johnson came to mind . Obviously well beyond the scope of this . But as always . A massive thumbs up for your work , and a kind wish for , Lynn .
Very nice! Thanks so much for the video. Sounds great and quite simple. I will work on this. And love the guitar you are using. One can play the blues with anything can't you.
My god you are such a breath of fresh air! Your passion and style make you a great teacher and I am inspired by you to move my blue playing up a notch. Thankyou sir !
Thank you very much for your inspiring lessons again I ve pick up my guitar again after a couple of years not playing due to injuries of my fingers which I couldn’t put them in the right direction. Now you can imagine what strange chords you can get.
Rob love all your stuff. I am 69 been sodding around with guitar for years. Do you think its too late for me to get that thumb finger independence thing 😅
This is great, Rob. Will have to put my Michael Messer resonator to use learning this. Interesting that you're playing delta blues in standard tuning. I thought most delta blues was in open G or open D.
Hello Rob, thank you for all your tutorials. They are - and you are great. Which special Blues is this? I didn't find the song that you sang. Could you please tell me the original Song so i can find it on you tube? Greetings from Germany Gerd
There is no specific song; it’s a 3 chord generic blues pattern used by everyone - and I made some words up on the spot as an example of what you can do with it. 👍🏻😎
You should help us a bit more, please, can you write down those beautiful things you played (beside the main lesson)? We could have them as independence and flexibility exercises for tthe right hand asThanks again. P.D. Please forgive my english, I am not american.
I really like your song choices on lessons, they sound. great but are fairly easy to play for a beginner like me. Thanks, more coming your way on the next song lesson or Masterclass.
Thank you. Inspiring me to take up the guitar at 76
Dave, He's done the same for me. I started with one Guitar and now have 10. Still learning. I'm 73 & it's never too late. This guy is so good.
I started in lockdown, 2021, at 63. Im still doing two hours a day, seven days a week :-) It’s the best thing Ive ever done :-)

Thanks Rob. I really do appreciate your hard work!
The lyrics are usually sad but the beat and notes make you want to boogie, they make you come alive that's what I love about the blues.

That was good.
I've never seen a shinier guitar
Are there any examples of songs using this pattern I can go listen to?
