Can cooked fruits be mixed with oats? im wondering if baked apples and oats or wheat would be ok, or soaked raisins in hot oats soup or soaked dried apricots with hot oats? i do these a lot
since she didn't get round to answering you, as a person with some knowledge on this - yes stewed fruit particularly things like pear, apple, raisins, figs, dates are very compatible with cooked oats and I believe you could add some other dried fruit too like dried apricots. I think sour fruits should be avoided thoughh as oats are sweet in nature. You can also add warm oil like coconut, flax or even ghee to add a creamier texture.
