My 99 year old grandma never had a drink with her meals and only had a small cup of water after to “confirm she was full”. It worked!

I love that! I feel like grandmother wisdom is often similar to Ayurvedic wisdom 😊✨ My grandma would always switch to warm stews in autumn, she would rub warm oil on her legs and feet in the winter (like Abhyanga) and many other things like this 😊

This is such wonderful information, thank you for sharing and giving a full description of good digestion. I will be trying these eventually after I master the slow down and chew, my biggest downfall.

love learning from you! this one was great. I’ve been experiencing a lot of digestive discomfort so constantly working on not overthinking and eating in calm states/environments

Unrelated question, but would keratosis pilaris be a sign of vata imbalance, and what would one do to alleviate it from an Ayurvedic perspective?

Hi Clare! I'm Kapha, and I definitely think that I don't drink enough water... how many liters of water do you think I should be drinking in a day?
    Thanks!

Your explanation of eating outside where people are passing by you while you are eating at the beginning of the video, has always been reminiscent for aggravating imbalances of my body/mind, because of the increased movement of energy around me. Being a Pitta-Vata dosha, loud sounds (vacuum, TVs, etc), lots of movement and excessive talking can be agitating while eating. Which Dosha is being aggravated when this happens?

      This is aggravated Vata dosha
