I started my weight loss journey 3 months back. I was 83 kg now I am 72 kg ... I am not doing any dieting but yea I drink hot water 3 glasses every morning in empty stomach . I go for walking and evening by 7 o'clock I eat my dinner these 3 simple step I took 3 months back. More to go ... and you are right ✅️ we should keep it simple and flexible with no hurry and worry. Hi Anita, I am 21 yrs old,prepared for neet from kota..and this year finally taking admission. I have gained a lot of weight. On 17th July my weight was 90 kgs, and i got diagnosed with thyroid and i am prediabetic now. I was really shattered. But then for the first time in my life i decided to go for some exercise. I tried many but couldnt do anything but then i finally landed on your 108 surya namaskars with me video and literally it changed my life. From august 7 to this day i have lost around 12 kgs. I am 78 now but like i know 78 is also huge amt of weight which needs to be shed but seriously i swear to God i am so body positive right now. I love myself. I have never been like this ever. Hi, Anita. I am glad that I came across your video. I tried a lot to loose weight for many years, I was able to achieve it successfully during the lockdown period. I had cut out rice and took only breakfast and dinner (two meal a day), no snacking and worked out daily for one hour. I was 81 kg when I started within few months I saw the difference. I came down to 71 kg. I still want to come down to 60 kg. I hope following your tips will help me loose another 10 kgs.😃💕
Hello... I'm 15 y.o. I used to weigh 84 kg at March, 2022. Then I decided to lose weight... Thanks to counting calories I'm now 76 kg... and planning to lose 20 more kg.
I tried to start my weight loss journey last year after recovering from covid in April’2021 but always had some issues.. Finally got a bit more regular since Dec’2021. Initial weight was 80kg Currently (Oct’2022) I am around 70kg so I have lost 10kg in 10 months lol As per my height my weight should be around 57kg-64kg so I have another 10kg to go. I’m content with my journey. 1kg loss per month doesn’t look like any progress as per TH-cam standards but it is progress! I’m healthier now. I don’t deprive myself of anything. I know that if I am a little strict about counting calories(eating vs burning) or portion control, I would loose weight faster but it’s not a race. Slow weight loss is so easy on your mental health as well as physical health.

Weight loss is not mathematics.. As per internet calculators i should have lost around 5 kg in a month, but here i am, having lost only 3.1 kg in 40 days. But as you said, it's progress nonetheless.

I have tried exercising but my body doesn’t seem to adapt at all. I will try to go for running from tomorrow, and I will also reduce the consumption of rice.

I lost 16kgs in 4months. With low carbs and 20-30 minutes gym. I still need to loose more than 8kgs but there is no rush. I am letting my body recover ❤ Hopefully soon I will be proud of myself.

Of you are really hungry the last thing to eat is a salad have eggs! Fish! Nuts peas and legumes instead of red meat like burgers and make better choice.... Have REAL foods don't think I can onlu have salad and cucumber and tomatoes those are low calories... Can you not snack on nuts and fresh fruits before you come home?? Apple and pears are great ideas and so are berries... feel like you should make your own cookies/ nut bars to take along to your job... that would prevent you from being seduced by candy bars and worse choice on your way back home....
I use to see all yr shorts on intermitent fasting, food during journey and in flight. I am a fan of yr inovation in cooking. My wife is not intested in cooking like u which much boring for me. If somone ask me what I wish in life I would say " cooking and eating like u. Still thanks for motivation.The best thig I love is seeing u eating rice and idli by hand.❤ U are as simple as yr simple way to explain thigs. I feel u like somone from my surrounding.

Today I am starting my journey on self-improvement to every aspect of my life. I am a CA student and since the time I am doing my articleship/internship, my weight and mental health has been imbalanced only. The Boss doesnt let me leave and give extra work to get completed. Because of this, I have longer/extended hours in the office,plus I have study to do as well. The first thing I am going to do is to say NO to this toxic work culture. I will say him that I am going to just work for the given time. This would me my first step to not think " If everyone is doing this Then this is OKAY" well, THIS IS NOT OKAY. I will work on my body , my mind and my studies and most importantly my relationship to myself. I have been harsh on me lately. I will move towards the flow of life, maybe gradually but without giving up. ❤
Great vid Anita. What I would also add, if you did this, and lost weight effectively, it can be very stressful if you put some weight on afterwards. It can happen when you’re sick, with corona or had an injury which prevented exercise for a while and you’re stuck at home, feeling poorly and craving comfort foods. It’s completely normal and the weight will come off slowly, as you return to your normal activities following recovery. It is tempting to resort to short term solutions, but even if they’re immediately effective, they’re not sustainable and it will only add frustration and injury to your metabolism, in addition to the weight returning back. So accept that it’s ok for our weight to shift back and forth with lifestyle and that sometimes it’s unavoidable. You’re more than just your body, so love yourself in times of set backs.
I needed to hear this today and I totally agree. I love her videos & how she motivates people to lose weight, but I also feel stressed out & feel a sense of urgency to lose weight when I watch this. I was of healthy weight until I got infected with covid, although I did lose some more, after the infection, I was too exhausted for months & the covid also affected me mentally , with anxiety & panic attacks, these factors prevented me from going out & exercising as I did before, as I was taking care of my mental health. As a result I put on some weight , also recently, I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. This broke my heart. Because I’ve never fallen sick or put on weight, until covid hit me. I’m still trying to come to terms with my diagnosis & weight gain. Although I’m doing everything I can, like eating right & working out, I find it hard to lose. It’s on my mind 24/7. I hate going out at times, I hate dressing up because I don’t like to see myself in the mirror, I uninstalled Instagram, because it gave me major fomo & videos like these make me question myself & why I can’t lose 30 kilos in 6 months. I wish these influencers, with their well intended videos, also told us, that all bodies are different, individual metabolism or their metabolic disorders determine how one loses weight. And that you can’t always have a desirable weight. If you’re thinking about the diet & weight every waking hour, there’s something really wrong with you, And that, quick weight loss journey can also put pressure on one’s thyroid & other organs. I wish we had one rule fits all when it came to weight loss, but it’s far from the truth.

It's not so simple, as you describe it. It is not just "eat less, move more". What made you lose weight were positive emotions. You have to be able to find joy in something other than food. This is the key. Otherwise all your attempt will be too hard for you to take and you will end up eating again.
Nice video. You were able to lose that kind of weight also because you were a kid. I would easily lose 5 kgs in college with a little effort. Today its hard despite the fact that I work out like a beast. I do but that's not gonna happen sister.

I am 78 now but like i know 78 is also huge amt of weight which needs to be shed but seriously i swear to God i am so body positive right now. I love myself. I have never been like this ever. I was always a chubby kid and i hated my body but for the first time in my life i feel like going out, getting dressed for diwali, like i never did these things...I am really grateful ❤..Thank you so much for making me experience life fully❤

Hi, Anita. I am glad that I came across your video. I tried a lot to loose weight for many years, I was able to achieve it successfully during the lockdown period. I had cut out rice and took only breakfast and dinner (two meal a day), no snacking and worked out daily for one hour. I was 81 kg when I started within few months I saw the difference. I came down to 71 kg. I still want to come down to 60 kg. I hope following your tips will help me loose another 10 kgs.😃💕

Hello... I'm 15 y.o. I used to weigh 84 kg at March, 2022. Then I decided to lose weight... Thanks to counting calories I'm now 76 kg... and planning to lose 20 more kg.
I tried to start my weight loss journey last year after recovering from covid in April’2021 but always had some issues.. Finally got a bit more regular since Dec’2021.
Initial weight was 80kg
Currently (Oct’2022) I am around 70kg so I have lost 10kg in 10 months lol As per my height my weight should be around 57kg-64kg so I have another 10kg to go. I’m content with my journey. 1kg loss per month doesn’t look like any progress as per TH-cam standards but it is progress! I’m healthier now. I don’t deprive myself of anything. I know that if I am a little strict about counting calories(eating vs burning) or portion control, I would loose weight faster but it’s not a race. Slow weight loss is so easy on your mental health as well as physical health.
True that. And ideal weight loss is losing 1 kg per month as you have. This is how I have as well list my weight. Its more sustainable, easy on mental health

Weight loss is not mathematics.. As per internet calculators i should have lost around 5 kg in a month, but here i am, having lost only 3.1 kg in 40 days. But as you said, it's progress nonetheless.

You have really inspired me !! I have just checked my weight few days earlier and i had gained a good amount of weight to 90kg. And it has been terrorising me. I have tried exercising but my body doesn’t seem to adapt at all. I will try to go for running from tomorrow, and I will also reduce the consumption of rice.

I lost 16kgs in 4months. With low carbs and 20-30 minutes gym. I still need to loose more than 8kgs but there is no rush. I am letting my body recover ❤ Hopefully soon I will be proud of myself.

Of you are really hungry the last thing to eat is a salad have eggs! Fish! Nuts peas and legumes instead of red meat like burgers and make better choice....
Have REAL foods don't think I can onlu have salad and cucumber and tomatoes those are low calories...
Can you not snack on nuts and fresh fruits before you come home?? Apple and pears are great ideas and so are berries... feel like you should make your own cookies/ nut bars to take along to your job... that would prevent you from being seduced by candy bars and worse choice on your way back home....
I use to see all yr shorts on intermitent fasting, food during journey and in flight. I am a fan of yr inovation in cooking. My wife is not intested in cooking like u which much boring for me. If somone ask me what I wish in life I would say " cooking and eating like u. Still thanks for motivation.The best thig I love is seeing u eating rice and idli by hand.❤ U are as simple as yr simple way to explain thigs. I feel u like somone from my surrounding.

Today I am starting my journey on self-improvement to every aspect of my life. I am a CA student and since the time I am doing my articleship/internship, my weight and mental health has been imbalanced only. The Boss doesnt let me leave and give extra work to get completed. Because of this, I have longer/extended hours in the office,plus I have study to do as well. The first thing I am going to do is to say NO to this toxic work culture. I will say him that I am going to just work for the given time. This would me my first step to not think " If everyone is doing this Then this is OKAY" well, THIS IS NOT OKAY. I will work on my body , my mind and my studies and most importantly my relationship to myself. I have been harsh on me lately. I will move towards the flow of life, maybe gradually but without giving up. ❤

Great vid Anita. What I would also add, if you did this, and lost weight effectively, it can be very stressful if you put some weight on afterwards.
It can happen when you’re sick, with corona or had an injury which prevented exercise for a while and you’re stuck at home, feeling poorly and craving comfort foods. It’s completely normal and the weight will come off slowly, as you return to your normal activities following recovery.
It is tempting to resort to short term solutions, but even if they’re immediately effective, they’re not sustainable and it will
only add frustration and injury to your metabolism, in addition to the weight returning back.
So accept that it’s ok for our weight to shift back and forth with lifestyle and that sometimes it’s unavoidable. You’re more than just your body, so love yourself in times of set backs.
I needed to hear this today and I totally agree. I love her videos & how she motivates people to lose weight, but I also feel stressed out & feel a sense of urgency to lose weight when I watch this. I was of healthy weight until I got infected with covid, although I did lose some more, after the infection, I was too exhausted for months & the covid also affected me mentally , with anxiety & panic attacks, these factors prevented me from going out & exercising as I did before, as I was taking care of my mental health. As a result I put on some weight , also recently, I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. This broke my heart. Because I’ve never fallen sick or put on weight, until covid hit me. I’m still trying to come to terms with my diagnosis & weight gain. Although I’m doing everything I can, like eating right & working out, I find it hard to lose. It’s on my mind 24/7. I hate going out at times, I hate dressing up because I don’t like to see myself in the mirror, I uninstalled Instagram, because it gave me major fomo & videos like these make me question myself & why I can’t lose 30 kilos in 6 months. I wish these influencers, with their well intended videos, also told us, that all bodies are different, individual metabolism or their metabolic disorders determine how one loses weight. And that you can’t always have a desirable weight. If you’re thinking about the diet & weight every waking hour, there’s something really wrong with you, And that, quick weight loss journey can also put pressure on one’s thyroid & other organs. I wish we had one rule fits all when it came to weight loss, but it’s far from the truth.

It's not so simple, as you describe it. It is not just "eat less, move more". What made you lose weight were positive emotions. You have to be able to find joy in something other than food. This is the key. Otherwise all your attempt will be too hard for you to take and you will end up eating again.

Between depression-eating after losing my mom, and then having a baby as soon as I stopped feeling sad about mom..um, I've gained 30kg in 2.5 years. So... now I want to lose it all, hoping to lose it in 6-12 months, then work on fitness to keep toned and keep my TDEE up.

I lost 7kg just by changing my diet from unhealthy to healthy, substituting carbs with proteins and fibres.

I can't focus on weight loss because I have to focus on studies.. but I have plans for my vacation, thanks so much for your video... it's really helpful... 😍now, I don't eat so much like before, but I don't skip my meals either... so I think that's good for a start... I totally cut down on sugar for like 2 weeks now, I might have some cake on my bday though 😊I'm planning to walk long distances in the morning during my vacation... hope it works... at least a bit :)
