If it is from the George Reeves story, the gun belongs to the kid's dad, who stored it where the kid could get ahold of it. Fairly common story from back in the day. (Kid getting their hands on dad's gun, not trying to kill Superman with it.)
Warner Bros. has to make an animated movie of Superman in the style of the George Reeves series. It should have certain nods, including attending a kid’s birthday party simply because he’s such a good sport. When Ben Affleck has a really well done environment and clean scenes, it's clear he is very talented as an actor. In my opinion, he did his parts well as Batman and DareDevil, but mostly it's the fact that DD was shot in the early era of comic movies. And as Batman he was in the then Snyderverse, now Nolanverse? I get it confused, not to be insensitive, it's just been a long time and I haven't been keeping up. And that whole tangled ball makes no sense anymore. Seeing him in that George Reeves situation, it made it feel more real. Especially seeing as he clearly saw from the front it was loaded. Shows an experienced individual in showmanship right there.

I just found out about this movie right now. The irony that he played Superman literally a decade before being one of the most famous and well known Batman actors is just too good.

This scene was actually true, Reeves managed to talk the child out of it. How does a kid get his hands on a real gun is beyond me. Kudos to the child actor playing the cowboy.
yeah and its a situation that can only happen in the US. A teacher was recently shot and critically injured by a 6 year old student of hers in class. AMERICUH! FUCK YEAH!

Watching this makes me realize Ben Affleck could have easily been cast to play Superman as opposed to Batman. He does have the look to be Superman.

Ya before I even clicked on the clip I was thinking to myself how Ben probably would have made a better superman than batman because his body and face are shaped more like superman. Also I think he does better with the more subtle nice guy acting rather than the more intense angry batman stuff.

I like how people are talking about how serious the scene is, or how this happened in real life with George Reeves, but nobody seems concerned or questions how this kid managed to have a LOADED REVOLVER in his possession.
If it is from the George Reeves story, the gun belongs to the kid's dad, who stored it where the kid could get ahold of it. Fairly common story from back in the day. (Kid getting their hands on dad's gun, not trying to kill Superman with it.)

Warner Bros. has to make an animated movie of Superman in the style of the George Reeves series. It should have certain nods, including attending a kid’s birthday party simply because he’s such a good sport. And maybe have Lois be a bit skeptical of Superman, only to be won over when he talks a kid out of shooting him with a real gun just because he wanted to see how strong the man of steel is.

The stuff this man had to go through just for being Superman. Hollywood was much different back then and these kids were really impressionable. May he rest in peace and honestly, shame on the flash for using him without an estate to say yes or no.

When Ben Affleck has a really well done environment and clean scenes, it's clear he is very talented as an actor. In my opinion, he did his parts well as Batman and DareDevil, but mostly it's the fact that DD was shot in the early era of comic movies. And as Batman he was in the then Snyderverse, now Nolanverse? I get it confused, not to be insensitive, it's just been a long time and I haven't been keeping up. And that whole tangled ball makes no sense anymore. Seeing him in that George Reeves situation, it made it feel more real. Especially seeing as he clearly saw from the front it was loaded. Shows an experienced individual in showmanship right there.

I saw George Reeves as Superman at a fair in Sacramento, California. I was 8 years old and thought we were going to see a movie. At first it was but then Reeves crashed out of the screen. One of the best moments of my childhood.
