This just says everything about Deadpool. He promises not to use his weapons and he actually sticks to that promise. Doesn't stop him from finding other ways to brutally slaughter the TVA soldiers though.
This is the best superhero movie opening ever. I can't describe with words how giddy I was watching this play out on opening weekend. It's so perfectly Deadpool.
Only problem is it's not a superhero movie, it's more like an anti hero movie because of the unlimited amount of violence, language and blood, plus it has Deadpool, wolverine and blade even though he was in the movie for a few mins who are all anti heroes
Thank you so much for putting this up! One of the best movie openings I have ever seen! Watched the film in the theatre months ago and still can't get it out of my head (not that I want to). 😉😄
This opening scene is so damn iconic. I was addicted to watching 90s boy band music video back then (BSB, Westlife, Boyzone and of course *NSYNC) and I somewhat remembered this song's choreography more or less, to the point I even danced along with Deadpool at the cinema lmao
You just know that Deadpool could actually hear the song in the background and was totally aware of all the credit names showing up… hell… he is probably aware of the name of the actors playing the TVA guys
Honestly, I think that guy was supposed to be Rob McElhenney's cameo, but I haven't seen a definitive confirmation of it. I do know he was supposed to play a TVA Minuteman who gets stuck in The Void, but he was cut from the film. It would make sense that he'd get stuck there after Deadpool uses his own pruning stick on him.
@@glennwelsh9784 You can see a captured tva agent in one of the prison cages which i assume is this one but they cut out the part where he gets killed by Alioth as seen in the first teaser
If my enemy had a weapon that had an 'instant death' end, I'd be focused on two things primarily: not getting hit with it, and getting them to hit themselves with it.
The funny thing is that as this is edited, this is how the comics convey that Deadpool fights, it's entirely in character that while fighting a mob he'll do a dance routine in between murdering people in wacky ways.
If Deadpool can kill this many TVA redshirts by himself, then I can’t imagine how brutal the massacre would be if they have to arrest people like Wanda or Carnage. Only way to do that is probably a prune charge.
I guess Loki was just careless the first time he met these guys. I mean, if they had trouble dealing with Deadpool, I'm sure if Loki had only known about the TVA he would have easily taken them down.
@@GuilhermeSilva-z4i Loki was also just defeated by the avengers like a few mins prior to being taken by the TVA, so he definitely wasn't in top fighting shape haha.
The reason he can take them down is, well, exactly what you are watching. Deadpool didn’t just fight, he did a whole musical number while using a metal skeleton as his weapon instead of the weapons he had that he promised not to use. Deadpool fighting style is so unpredictable and just batshit crazy that he gives almost everyone, save for Logan, a lot of trouble. Taskmaster is petrified of him.

Tears of Joy from my inner 12 year old every time I watch this. The Theatre Experience was like nothing ive experienced in years or maybe ever. It was ballistic and Transcendent in the Goofiest Technicolor way. The Blade/Gambit reveal was Bonkers.
It's the summer of 2000 and NSYNC is fucking *everywhere,* along with this damned song. If you'd told me then that in less than 25 years, this song would be the track used in one of the most violent Marvel movies ever released, while fucking Deadpool, of all Marvel characters, was using the desiccated adamantium corpse of James Howlett -- who'd only *just* been introduced in an X-Men movie adaptation -- I would've fairly called you insane.

deadpool used his bones as weapons to mutilate dumb characters from a dumb part of the MCU, I don't see any disrespect here.
it's because the people that entered the cinema who care about the character already have the expectation of respecting the character along the movie, even though it makes little of the logan movie you already know that this movie will do for the character what 20 years or so couldn't. Taking a little jab without ill intent to make a cool scene really wouldn't bother anyone
Watching the Lego version a million times to wait for the rewatchable original was so worth it.

Are you talking about that one Lego TH-camr who made it along with the Void fight, and car fight?

What do you mean nostalgia, the movie came out only a few months ago?
@potatork1ng311 the nostalgia of the song.
The choice to use "Bye, Bye, Bye" from NSYNC was the best thing they could have ever done for this scene. It works on so many levels.

Oh really?... I guess the acronym F.A.G. would have been so much better than T.V.A. Not!
@@synth505Buddy, calling this guy here a “F.A.G” is kind of redundant knowing how I’m pansexual. That’s right, I’ve tried them all! Guys, girls, in-betweeners, even Death herself! Do your research! (I recommend Daniel Way’s and Skottie Young’s runs on me👍🏻)
I'm not personally a fan of Ryan Reynolds, but the love he has for this character is really admirable.
That kind of passion is what makes movies special.
This is one of the best displays of how skilled Wade is in combat and also how much of a world-class troll he is. The amount of relentless disrespect on display here is truly legendary.
4:32 Last TVA looking at their boss like, "I don't wanna die like that!"
Given how he does die, it might have been preferable...
I think it’s just the sheer UNORTHODOX style of Deadpool is why the TVA had such a hard time attempting to subdue him.
@@mr.hawklingiii8739can you imagine if he'd used his guns? They really underestimated Wade.
I saw this film for the first time in theaters, and my dad took me and my sister to see it the night before my birthday when I turned nineteen. We had to see it at 11 O’clock at night because other showings were completely full, but when it finished at around 1 in the morning, I realized I got to watch Deadpool and Wolverine as I turned my final year of being a teenager. Truly special and I will never forget such an experience.
That’s an amazing memory, happy late birthday dude
That’s awesome bro I seen Deadpool 3 on my birthday
Sounds like an awesome experience man

This just says everything about Deadpool. He promises not to use his weapons and he actually sticks to that promise. Doesn't stop him from finding other ways to brutally slaughter the TVA soldiers though.
All the way until one of the TVA badmouths his country. That's enough to make him break his promise.
More like an anti-superhero

This opening scene is so damn iconic. I was addicted to watching 90s boy band music video back then (BSB, Westlife, Boyzone and of course *NSYNC) and I somewhat remembered this song's choreography more or less, to the point I even danced along with Deadpool at the cinema lmao
I don't think you know what iconic means
@@CorriganM08I think he does lol it’ll be iconic later
@@CorriganM08the complete combination of Deadpool obliterating everyone to a song like this is instantly iconic.
Don't be a silly billy.
She-Hulk : "Let's twerk."
Fans : "FUCK OFF!!!!"
Deadpool : "Bye Bye Bye."
Fans : "Dance Off Bro, Me And You."
Yeah that was cringe while this was peak
DP & W plus Venom the last dance was like the only Peak marvel movie to me after no way home.
Because twerking demeaned her character, while this is completely in-character for Deadpool.
She-Hulk - 0
Deadpool - 100
You don’t understand she was just dancing. Deadpool basically said “Let’s dance”🥊iyk iy.
You just know that Deadpool could actually hear the song in the background and was totally aware of all the credit names showing up… hell… he is probably aware of the name of the actors playing the TVA guys
The way he uses the soldiers own pruning stick at 2:43 to prune him is so clean
Honestly, I think that guy was supposed to be Rob McElhenney's cameo, but I haven't seen a definitive confirmation of it. I do know he was supposed to play a TVA Minuteman who gets stuck in The Void, but he was cut from the film. It would make sense that he'd get stuck there after Deadpool uses his own pruning stick on him.
@@glennwelsh9784 You can see a captured tva agent in one of the prison cages which i assume is this one but they cut out the part where he gets killed by Alioth as seen in the first teaser

Deadpool just took a hero’s perfect death and… it shouldn’t be allowed to be this good of a scene let alone an intro. I can’t stop watching this
The funny thing is that as this is edited, this is how the comics convey that Deadpool fights, it's entirely in character that while fighting a mob he'll do a dance routine in between murdering people in wacky ways.
3:20 was actually well edited
Good cut to the next part of the song pretty seamless
Yeah it’s was edited cause he did L emote
Makes you wonder how on Earth they've managed to "deport" Deadpool Corps at the end of the movie.
@@tums01234but he is still Loki, the writers just choose to make him too powerless. And ir’s stupid, i mean… he even have the Cosmic Cube

This is the absolute last song I’d expect opening this kind of movie, but god damn is it so on brand for Deadpool.
Especially how Logan hated the song that was playing in the car in x man 2

I like how *DEADPOOL* does that thing, just like *Justin Timberlake,* member of **NSYNC* in the *Music Video.*
He does dance like Justin Timberlake
It's the summer of 2000 and NSYNC is fucking *everywhere,* along with this damned song. If you'd told me then that in less than 25 years, this song would be the track used in one of the most violent Marvel movies ever released, while fucking Deadpool, of all Marvel characters, was using the desiccated adamantium corpse of James Howlett -- who'd only *just* been introduced in an X-Men movie adaptation -- I would've fairly called you insane.
