I bought this speaker 2 months ago from T-mobile and when I tell you I'm getting another one for the other side of my room, I'm doing just that. I always preferred to listen to music in my car but now I love it in my house too. That bass is king!
Hi! This speaker is so loud I don’t need a second one for the first floor. I can hear it all the way upstairs. It’s loud enough for me to clean and listen to music. If i was throwing a party i would buy a second one for 2nd floor.

I love mine!! The bass is so warm and deep, so much power coming from this box. I like that it’s not too small or too big and easy to carry around and aesthetically it’s a cool funky box The lights are pretty too haha..

Got mine yesterday and it's beyond expectations. The bass is deep and the mids are best with the app settings. Love it

I have my JBL pulse the first version so many years now is still works perfect and that looks like a heater instead of a carry on boombox.
Got 2 Encores with extra lights and mics paired together and they kick ass for their size..... in my eyes they are the best and cleanest sounding partybox of them all

i wish they'd make thinner light rings n squeeze in larger woofers. that 5" woofer could have been 8" for a box that size, still with (thinner) RGB.
also, for a day at the beach figure on adding two massive AC-power battery packs.
really curious to catch your review of the Boombox 3 coming in Summer. they finally bit the bullet and made it a real 3-way, with a 5x8 or 6x9 ("football shaped") woofer. THAT might be amazing.

The bass thump is deep and sounds amazing. When outdoors and speaker is not against a wall or anything for the bass to bounce off of, it still sounds good. For me, this speaker is well balanced and while plugged in, it sounds even better. I've had this speaker for several months now and still very happy with it. I also use it for karaoke and man it sounds awesome.

Y la potencia es más que el Boombox 2 y más profundo el bajo eso sí que me tiene enloquecido jajaja quiero uno urgente!! Estaba a punto de comprar el on the go, o el 100 por el tamaño, pero ahora más prefiero este, así podré llevar donde sea, Diablos me siento emocionado...

I’m all about JBL speakers. Been on them since the Flip 2 when I was a sophomore in HS. I heard this speaker in the mall last night and was like ain’t no way that small ass speaker is producing bass that clean and that deep. JBL never ceases to amaze me.

Hmm, I'm curious how you would feel about the onn groove medium sized speaker. It's 80$ and has 40 watts of power but is similar in size to that partybox for a fraction of the price. I owned the speaker awhile back and it was hands down the best I have owned for 80 bucks. Bass hit hard, sounded pretty good too. Curious how it compares to the 300$ encore, might be a good video for you to make to possibly appeal to people on a budget. Great video, always hyped to see you post another one💪

Listening to this on a flip 4, this partybox sounds amazing still
I almost bought this, but opted for the JBL PartyBox 110 for one main reason, battery life. The Encore Essential is at 6 hours, the 110 at 12 hours. Real world time is closer to 60% of rated battery life when played at 80%+ volume. Also, there is a stand mount option for the 110.
Same but now that I ordered, still considering copping the encore with it for portability.

What up Floss, apparently there are two versions of this speaker "The Encore Essential" and "The Encore". The Encore is what's supposed to come with a wireless mic and may be about 50/100 bucks more. This one sounds dope tho, I was thinking about giving in and buying that HyperBoom but this could just be a better option.
Would love to see a teardown of this and other JBL speakers, just to see if JBL could have put bigger batteries into their speakers.

Amazing review. I got 2 of these speakers and was hooking up thre wireless mic. The speakers sync and played the sound perfectly bit the mic only played from where the mic was connect not both speakers. Anyone know how to make that work?
