@@Countrylovecocoaaha ima find out whats up with that bc i already have the encore essential and today my pb 110 is coming in Edit, i tested it out, and to my surprise, the encore goes lower in frequencys
@@zombie18g well, the i just notice that the encore's focus is more in the lower frequency's (38-50hz) where as the 110 is not focusing on the 38-50 hz range, rather 55-70hz, which i find weird bc now the encore just sounds ALOT more powerfull indoors and outdoors, its almost close to the 110 in sound quality, yes the 110 gets louder and has more upper bass, but it doesnt get that much louder, the only place where the encore cant keep up is the batterylife and the light feature.
Also my encore turned up around 75 percent with light feature off in only about 3 1/2 hrs. It drops 10 Percent the first 5 min at that volume once it gets around 70 percent it slows down some. With lights on then maybe 2/1/2 hrs before it’s down to 10 percent or less.
I watched your Partybox 110 vs XP500, I think Partybox sounded better. Partybox 310 vs XP700, I think Partybox was still just a tad better. However, since the Partybox 110 is the same price as the upper XP700 (both $399), do you have a strong recommendation comparing those two (you don't have a video for that scenario). For the same price is the XP700 much better, or still relatively equal to the Partybox 110?
I know this is super late response to your answer. The answer is "no, it wont destroy your battery. We already asked that from jbl help center. When the battery is full, it will automatically switch to AC mode."
I think you should have made the sony's volume to 60 to 70%as i have my sony xp 500 for a few months now and I discovered that the sony slightly reduces the bass and prioritieses the higher notes if its on battery power but when plugged in it removes that power limiter and goes to 100% no problem. 70% volume is where it shines balanced bass and high notes.
Achei a JBL encore muito equilibrada e versátil. Bateria de 4 horas já está bom para mim. E, se faltar os agudos, existe o ajuste de agudos na encore. Amei a “caixinha”
I've got the xp500 and.. it has always the same strenght of bass. I thought i could listen with it to music in low volume (about 30-50%) but the bass keeps beeing deep and strong and louder then the singing person. Except that it sounds great and have enough bass. I just wish i could turn the subwoofer off.
Great review, I had issue pairing for the first time, but after I paired two sonny xp700 together, then I paired the 700 to the xb 33 I have not noticed any difficulty or skip what so ever, the pairing are working very well so far, had the speakers for almost a year now. I think the issue happens when pairing for the first time but works perfectly after. I use sonny phone, not sure if this helps with the connectivity.
The 110 is better than encore in open area as far as power My encore in open area is ok but when I have it up against a wall or corner or in my hatchback then it really kicks harder .
Did you know you can also plug in any usb powered led lights into the usb port and they work? Usb lights are cheap and there are tons of choices. So add to your light show by simply plugging extra lights into thise ports and enjoy.
Unfortunately with Daisy chain not only do you get mono instead of stereo but the EQ only goes from your phones Bluetooth into the original speaker and the EQ quality does not transfer down that daisychain to multiple speakers. I don’t understand how but I guess the daisychain only sent a signal from the power amp to the next speaker and does not get the effects of the EQ someone had mentioned that so I call technical support and they confirmed it I don’t know if that is something they can fix an update but they really dropped the ball because I sure would like to add some additional speakers throughout my house and be able to use TWS and get stereo quality and EQ quality and not have to deal with any cords either
Dude! I agree. I love JBL speakers but they really need to solve their software and connectivity issues and how it all works together. It's frustrating that I can only connect up to two speakers via TWS and If I want stereo they have to be two of the EXACT same model. Some other brands allow wireless connection up to 5, 10, 12 speakers and more. I have 2x 710 and It's a bit annoying that every time I want to listen to them I have to turn them both on separately and I have to connect them together EACH TIME which takes like 20-30 sec. I know it's not that much but if I have to do it every time, it's getting annoying. I really hope JBL comes up with a solution so the speakers will stay connected and every time I turn one on, the connected speaker turns on as well. That'd be great. As of right now I'm slightly disappointed with the dual 710 and I kind of wished I bought Ultimate instead. The stereo of 710 sounds incredible but takes too much time to set them on each time.
@@LukeR1M yep 👍 great points u made sir Also they are losing money cause if I could connect four of the JBL 710’s or add a couple of PB 1000’s that’s on sale for $899 each together in TWS I would go out and buy two more right now especially the 719’s at $689 apiece and have them on all four corners of my room so JBL is losing a shit load of money with this issue. You could put them all to your house and have six speakers playing while you are cleaning the house that would be awesome lol. It’s like you compare 100 speakers together with their smaller ones but that it had mentioned above is insane no one is going to do that but I have a room with four of the 710 s or 1000s would be awesome but they’re connectivity issues are frustrating it definitely takes too long with just 2 speakers if you are using the app. If I cut them on by pressing the button it only takes about a sec and I have to connect to my Bluetooth but if I do it through the app it takes 10 or 12 seconds for each speaker to connect to the app and sometimes I have trouble connecting them at all through the app but you are right it is annoying. I have two of the 710s in my living room but I have a couple of JBL encore speakers in the back of the house it would even be nice to add them to this room on the other side to add some extra surround sound but the problem is is we have here is only two speakers I never have figured that out because as I said they are losing money I’m not gonna go out and spend another couple of thousand or 1500 if I can’t use them all at the same time. I definitely love JBL but they dropped the ball big time on this issue for sure
@@max_koning in my Opinion the 100 just sounds clearer with the deeper bass on Mode 1. But they are nearly identical, so it comes down to the price. I managed to pick one up for 199 in the jbl outlet Store
I have a friend who has a JBL speaker, I don't remember the model but it's small and the truth is I don't think it has moved anything, but his speaker is very loud but it ends up hurting your ears, and with my sony xp 500 even though it's already connected all the volume in a small and closed place a 4x4 room does not hurt at all, its sound is very clear the truth, I'm planning to buy the jbl encore too but I'm worried about that kind of detail, any ideas? :(

Not sure if everyone knows this yet, but JBL released a firmware update to all the Partybox Speakers that includes a 3 band eq and helps quite a bit.
I have it on my encore and 110.
My first 110 broke within 2 days of having it, i had to get another one.
Partybox 110 is balanced and clear, the encore is on low clarity, while sony is high in clarity
Have you tried using the EE EQ to tune it to your liking? I'm sure you will revisit this statement 😁
Clarity. Pfft. All of them sound muffled to me, with the bigger jbl being the most clear. At least in the recording.
I get encore essential in 170
Really appreciate the video showing the performance of the speakers
Sounds like the PartyBox 110 is much clearer and sharper.. deeper clear bass tones and very crisp on vocals..
