I’m a first time guy owner, picked up an echelon and I LOVE IT. I put 600 rounds through it and finally decided to clean it. Super grateful to have found this video, made it super easy for me.
Thank you. I'm a relatively new gun owner. The Echelon is my newest. I have shot them a bit, but I haven't cleaned them. I wanted to watch someone else do it before I did it myself. This was very helpful.
I’ve only shot my Springfield Echlon recently and the gun shoots great. It fits like a kit glove. I’m so glad I bought it. Thank you for the video on how to clean it.
I’ve always been told to use oil on things that rotate and grease on things that slide. Springfield manual only uses oil what is other Echelon user opinions. Especially on the rails. Springfield says that the COG does not need lubrication. What are other Echelon users doing wrt lubrication/cleaning the COG.
Clean gun is a happy gun,,,,,nice video for newbe and pro………I like to dismantle the mag, clean ,and add a quick spritze of spray car wax to the inside and spring……

55yr old female just cleaned my new Echelon for the first time. Thank you for the tutorial.

I use a Wilson combat rail cleaning tool that looks like a micro pry bar to get into the slide rails. 😊
as a new owner, I appreciate the vid!
Me too. Cleaned my new Echelon for the first time today and this was super helpful.

CLP is a cleaner, lube, and protectant.
Grease is thick and not meant for cleaning firearms. Grease would slow down the reciprocation of the slide.
Very well done and presented! 👍
Glad you liked it!
After how many uses would you recommend replacing any of the cleaning tools displayed here?
@@Mario5ive With normal use, the tools will last a long time. I loose things before having to replace from wear.
Appreciate the great video. Just got my Echelon and best believe I will be pulling this up again when it's time to do the first cleaning
The thank you!
I love the feel of the echelon
Can't wait to get mine thanks for the vid
Is there any risk of wearing away a Cerakote finish over time by cleaning?
@@aminortuneup8408 Never seen that happen.
