My red dot of choice has been the 507k on both P365s (x and xl) for some time now. These are my EDCs. However, when I obtained the Springfield Echelon as my Sunday go-to-meeting gun for church security, I was shown the Holosun 407C green and was amazed at the difference it made for my eyes. I've put about 600 rounds through it now and absolutely love it.
@@Seabee74 yes - no plate needed, that’s what allows the co-witness because the optic sits lower. The Echelon pin system is setup by default for an RMR optic footprint. Just remove the cover plate on the gun and use the shorter screws that come with the optic for install - leave the existing pins on the slide. The Holosun 507 Comp uses that footprint so no pin changeouts needed for other systems.
Man HS Produkt really set the bar with this optics boss system - other than maybe misplacing small parts this really looks like a perfect solution - direct mount of just about every optic has my attention
I am wanting to put the 507c ACSS Vulcan on my new echelon. I’ve never used a red dot but like the idea of the outer circle to help teach me better mechanics. My question is will I need a plate or will it be a direct mount? Also I just wanted to thank you for the video!🤠
Great run down on ALL OF THEM , glad they makes the ACSS in 507k now , i like My 507C grn ACSS . ALSO EPS MRS grn sets very low on G-19 MOS you can still p/u stock irons , i think the new SCS ENCLOSED sets even lower . BEST SIGHTS ON THE MARKET ❤
I have an astigmatism. from what I have been reading the green is best. I am just trying to figure out which green dot I can place on my Springfield Armory Echelon.
I would definitely recommend trying a green dot. My favorite optic for the Echelon is the SCS 320. It’s a green dot, it’s an enclosed emitter, and it looks really nice with the echelon.
So what I’ve been told by my eye doctor, the bigger the window for the optic, usually the better it is, I got the 507 elite comp and the window does help a fair bit
I'm no big fan of the horse shoe rear sight on the echelon! So I put a holosun red dot on it without the outer circle, I don't want it to cover up my target! I just wanted the dot that I can adjust to my liking.
If you had one choice which would you pick (closed emitter). I just ordered the threaded barrel version for a heck of a price and wanting to do an optic as well.

I use #6-32, 9.13mm, T10, but it fell of!..:) Maybe I installed it incorrectly? I also purchased Holosun SCS-320 short screws from TACRIG (haven't tried them yet - still waiting for delivery).
which screws did you use for the SCS 320? the screws i got from holosun seemed way too short. I ordered the multiple screw kit from springfield armory's website and the screws they recommended to use were way too long (stuck halfway up into my optic window) I ended up using the RMR screws that came with the package from springfield they work but they also seem kind of short, they dont sit flush in the holes like my other optics
You use the SCS 320 screws. They will tighten up but you keep going. They aren’t too short. If anything they’re almost too long. Just keep tightening until they stop spinning. Just don’t gorilla it

Just put a Holosun 507 Comp GR on my Echelon. Perfect co-witness, very happy! It took 3 months to get it because of the long back order list though.

I wish the scs 320 came with red dot. My eyes don’t pick up green nearly as well as red. Maybe someday holosun will include red

Gold would be better. They cost a little more .

I just use the screws it came with. Just make sure they’re tightened down all the way
Do any other SCS red dots fit on the Echelon? Like thePDP, vp9, or mp2? Is the SCS 320 the only one with the enclosed emitter?

I keep reading you need to take off 2-3 threads so that the screws (I think it's mainly the right one) doesn't interfere with the extractor spring.
