Redeemer Gunship Gimbal Weapon Workaround/Fix | Star Citizen 3.16

Workaround/Fix for the Redeemer not being able to use weapons when attached to gimbals. This lets you use the gimbals instead of having to mount S4 weapons. You will need another ship that already has S4 mounts though.

What weapon loadout would you recommend on the Redeemer for both the turrets and the pilot controlled weapons?

For the Pilots and remote turrets, go full laser repeater. For the manned turrets (size 5) go for laser canon. Laser repeater are worthless over size 4.

The tracking is about the same as it was before, but there's generally less of a penalty in terms of DPS since they redid the weapon balance. On some ships, like the Redeemer where the remote turret on the front is already gimbaled, and the rotation rate of the ship is fairly low, it makes sense to gimbal them all. On fighters, probably not so much unless they already have bespoke gimbal/turrets.
