@@ice_yt8153 In real life, it's very understandable that everyone complains about the inflation and fuel prices going up, but I always find it a bit funny how SCS changes the fuel prices to reflect the fuel prices in real life. Expensive, but it's realistic that fuel prices matches real life prices.
I noticed 3 months ago... When I stopped to fill the tank... And my reaction was: "cool the prices are in real time... Interesting" and that shows how much the IRL truckers pay for each time they fill the tank...
There's two types of train crossings in game. The older crossings have trains that are 'mover' items, they don't respond to the player at all and will go through whatever is blocking the track. Newer train crossings use AI vehicle based trains (they are essentially an AI truck with lots of trailers) these trains first showed up in the Vive La France DLC and they will stop for the player (though it should be noted that they will hit you if they don't have enough braking distance)
The adjustable trailer length also works with some of the container trailers, And the Krone container trailers. Without having to go to a service place. As long as it's fitted with a adjustable chassis. You can usually choose between 3 set-ups, A single 20 foot container setup, Or two 20 foot container setup, Or a single 40 foot container setup.
I also discovered that if we are further north, e.g. in Scandinavia, there are polar nights, which means that the nights are getting slower and when we are driving in the south, e.g. in the Balkans, the nights are getting faster than in Scandinavia. The bottom line here is that when it's 2:00 am, there's no such effect.
3:21 i discover this when i was driving on railway (don't ask why) and when im in front the train just stop but sometime if you go voluntarily in front of the train, it will cause a crash. at the road between calais and duisbourg, the train has no colision
Nice Video, additional Information to 2:13 , if you changing the Length of the Trailer! There are different Cargos for Short and Long Trailer available in Freight Market. Unfortunately you can not see the Cargo for the Long Setup when your Trailer is Short and vise versa. This Option works for all extendable Trailer in the Game!
I remember an older type of Trucking game of SCS, it was called 18 wheels of steel or something. If you stopped on train tracks, the train will actually hit you, and play one of the few ending cutscenes, where it tells you you died, and you left your wife and your dog 😢
0:59, that's Squirrel, the TH-camr that does ETS 2 and ATS videos and the guy in the blue shirt (after the photo of Squirrel), that's Keralis, also a TH-camr that does Minecraft videos and also previously ETS 2 and ATS videos. 😁👍🚛
regarding the trains stopping - I know this is for Euro Truck - but in ATS they plough straight into you (I couldn't clear a crossing due to a red traffic light on the other side of crossing). Barriers came down which then blocked me from reversing or anything, and then the Santa Fe Express smashed into my truck. weirdly enough it only did 20% ish damage and I was able to carry on and finish the job!
Reflectors on trucks only work when your headlight is on. Also, the little window opening and closing buttons are animated and have one-touch opening/closing. Really nice little touch.
I find the hazard feature useful in American Truck Sim. At a couple places, it's easier to reverse in off the street then it is to pull in and try and to turn around. The small Tidbit stores is where I usually do this.
Great video! I really did not realize the multiple color options and I also did not know about F7-settings. (I mostly play without an own trailer). The others I knew, but it is always nice to get a reminder on them
2:15, wtf haha I was always like, what a shame that we can't shorten or longer the extendable trailers.. Wow so it is possible without paying in the customizing menu. But still a shame that we only see cargo for the setup, it should show both long and short cargos when you are in the short setup and just extend by itself when loading up the cargo, the even could add some loading time for realism
I don't know if this is well known or not but you can also adjust trailers you don't own, although only before accepting their mission. In the menu screen where you accept missions there's a little gear icon on some trailers and when you click it you can choose your prefered type of trailer. Quite often you find shorter ones than the default which is always welcome for a bit of extra maneuverability.
@@stephenmartin5766 as a driver, can confirm that torque steering is a thing in real life. often a result of shit like bad parts. it's simply a path of least resistance thing - I had to get rid of a citroen C4 Picasso. under power - that is, I'm accelerating and not economically at that, the car tries to pull one way, and then when I fully let off the throttle, foot of the pedal even, and it 'engine brakes', it turns the other way. about ten degrees of movement.
The mercedes actros I drive at work pulls slightly to the right with the driveshaft torque it tries to lift the left front wheel when heavy and accelerating
The hazard light gap with other cars is there to let you maneuver if let’s say, you have to take the left lane to make a tight right turn with a long trailer. So other cars won’t pass and let you do your maneuver without any risk of having a car accidentally hit by your trailer. Would be nice to add the reason because I realized that a lot of people are not aware of that. Nice job 👍
Have you ever made a video if "Realistic Fuel Consumption" actually makes a difference (besides that when it is active and you are not on the accelerator while rolling it doesn't use any fuel)? If you drive suuuuuper close to the railway barrier (or crash into it (preferrably at slow speeds)) the train might actually try to stop. (Like it wants to give you right of way) Some AI vehicles also do this at junctions. (Very neat)
Realistic fuel consumption definitely has more effects than that, you can tell from the fuel economy tab in your dashboard. I believe turning it *off* sets it to a constant rate per driven kilometer or something, and then it applies the Eco-driving reduction. It's part of why France, Poland and Spain absolutely wreck your fuel economy - with a low powered truck, you might not be up to highway speed before you leave the "real time" zone around the toll booths, and end up having to accelerate the last 10 to 20 kph while under time compression - which means you spend half an hour at full throttle. It's also why Eco-Driving is the last skill you level, because it has no effect with realistic fuel turned on, unlike the others which at least make your jobs pay better
Funny how the hazardlights trick works in ets2 so much more consistant then in the real world ;) Yeah, i drive a garbagetruck, quite a lot of manouvring ;)
I didn't know about the multiple choices on the default paintjobs. If you are stationary on the tracks the train stops, but if for some reason you try to pass with the rail crossing lights flashing and the barrier goes down, it damages the truck and repositions you off the tracks. Which mod is it to bring MAN truck on trailer, when you talk about hazard lights? Thank you for another great video
The adjustable trailer I don’t see how anyone would miss that, SCS themselves and many other TH-camrs literally showed them doing that when it was added
about extendable and shortable trailer, you can get different cargos too. like for example theres 2 air conditioners on extended trailer but only 1 on shortened trailer, the reward are different too lol. also you can press f4 too if you want to adjust the trailer lenght (not only trailer you can adjust the trucks light and trucks window).
3:24 another Detail coming from a Railfanner, Maybe Almost All of you Truck lovers didnt know About since most of yall are not into trains or still learning about them, But you look closer That's a Eoupern Locomotive that's hualing Amrican style grain cars, which those are not Seen in eoupe at all since well their American rolling stock.
When extending or contracting the trailers, do it from the main menu screen. Otherwise it'll turn off your lights, reset your dashboard info screen, turn off your parking brake, disable the rain sensor, and default your Jake braking intensity back to one rather than three.
the fact i haven’t known about these even after playing ETS for years and years now. i’m gonna have to go through my settings and change everything now
I didn't know about the fuel prices , I just knew that they are different depending on the place , for example in garages I've noticed that it's cheaper than in fuel stations. I know that you can shorten the trailer , but I'm never using it because if I have it short I can see orders only for short trailer , if I have it long I can see orders only for the long one. Also every time that I shorten it the truck resets , I need to switch back on the lights on the bull bar and on the roof , re-open the windows , re-activate the engine brake etc. And the drivers are not setting the trailer according to the load , so in case of lowbeds I need to buy one long and one short for every garage , because I'm buying one trailer for every cargo in every garage , 16 trailers now in most of Europe , 24 in Germany and Northern Europe , and 32 in Finland. It would be nice if SCS would set up the scrips of the trailer to be of the length needed for the load , to be able to see and take cargoes for both lengths and AI drivers to change their length accordingly. Regarding the trains (or even trams) crossings , it depends how far you are from it. If you are too close , it would not be able to stop in time , so it will crash you , it happened to me when I was going between the barriers thinking I'm faster than the train. 🤣😅
Fun fact, I've recently turned on my Mom's 16 year old PC to look at some old pictures ofyself and found my old ETS 2 game on there. The PC still has Windows 7 and the Game is in version 1.11 Vanilla, it was great returning to the good old days...
I was just looking for how to disable the gps navigation information on the truck's own screen and have it only displayed on the TomTom or cell phone. Good video, Milan.

Mine's at 10,000. 4: When you're speeding in a fast lane, the AI will adjust to your speed (as long as there's nobody in front) so that they can move out of your way. 5: I believe it was 1.40 (ATS, i have a video on it). The AI didn't know how to merge and would constantly crash. 6: There are different mods you can use to enhance your game. 7: Adding Airhorns will make your horn louder then the default.
1. Time and distance scales based on where you are. In cities and gas stations/rest stops, time is slowest and distances longer. On regional roads, time is faster and distances shorter and so on 2. I wouldn't recommend going crazy with this, as it can easily gridlock traffic. The roads weren't meant to hold real ammounts of vehicles. 3. Too high distances can cause serious performance loss 6. Depends 7. They add an alternate horn that is activated via a different command
I know for a fact if you turn on your high beam Light at night the AI drivers flash with there high beam Lights to warn you to turn it of and i had some times that an AI driver is breakchecking you or even hit you from behind.
I discovered that when you activate your turn signal, the Adaptive Cruise Control ( ACC ) does not apply brakes because it knows that you are going to overtake😂

Did you know that the MAN TGX Euro 6 EfficientLine 3 has 3 odometers near the gauges (one by the tachometer, one in the middle and one by the speedometer) and the MAN TGX Euro 6 EfficientLine 3 also has something like this that shows how many l the truck has spent in total .
About the sun light times: the game knows the exactly right solar cycle on every place on the map. But also for every day of the year. By default it's always 21 June in the game, midsummer. With a very simple mod you can change the parameter 'day of year' into any value between 1 and 365 and you'll get the right daylight times for the exact date you want. I'm writing this on 6 February, so before playing I adjust the 'day of year' parameter to 37, as it is the 37th day of the year and I will have exactly the right day light times for 6 February for any place on the map. However, since it's February, I also need to activate a mod that changes the timezone of every country to wintertime (no daylight saving time). I've always been wondering why SCS never implemented an option to choose the day of year in the settings screen, while they did implement a FULL-working astroclock for any place AND any date... So, using the ProMods map, which enables you to travel all the way to Svalbard, you can experience midnight sun at midsummer (around day 172), as well as the polar night (around day 355).
2:08 trailer adjustment, I prefer to return the trailer to the garage and customize there, thus not losing the cruising speed saved in my truck. The same thing, when ordering a truck to be driven, it unconfigures the internal camera position adjustments... In order not to lose the adjustments, I transfer myself to the garage where the truck I want to drive is, thus keeping all internal camera settings saved for the different trucks. Call the trailer with ctrl F9... At least you can look at the companies' trailer loads and then choose the trailer needed for the job that interests me the most. SCS does not play the game like most TrucksBook WoTr players do.
Noticed the gas prices after seeing the high spike in California and how the different stations have different prices too. I didn't activated the torque setting, were looking for a check mark not a slider. 🤦♂
Anything show that an oil change is needed? In the last 2 updates ATS started getting DEF tanks added to trucks. But no fill for them when you get fuel. Is it the same for ETS2?
G'day Milan, haven't been getting to drive much as I am moving house so doing more kms in the real car, but yeah I did notice the price of Fuel last week for me was €1.6? now over €2. also my niece has been driving too so did get a surprise when she Yawned, I turned & asked her if she was getting tired & wanted to go home "👧It wasn't me, it was the game what do I do?"😂
When lights on railway crossing start blinking and you hear emergency sound the invisible wall is appearing before railway crossing and you can't drive on the crossing before it will physically closed.

great video! i only knew the thing with the traffic lights and the one with the parking brake. 👍
I discovered that when you activate your turn signal, the Adaptive Cruise Control ( ACC ) does not apply brakes because it knows that you are going to overtake😂
5:00 How did you get this interior in scania ? I dont see it in game.
It's a mod.
I now it with the light and darkness in different places with the same time..in scandinavia its almost as bright like day because the sun goes never 100% down.
I knew about the diffrent snoozing sounds because first time i played i didn't know how to make my character male then i found it out and i noticed the diffrent sounds
Hi, I saw that your scania at 0:55 has leds in the rear of the cab. What mod do you use to mount them?
Mantul banget ini alias mantab betul update nya ets 2
Did you know that the MAN TGX Euro 6 EfficientLine 3 has 3 odometers near the gauges (one by the tachometer, one in the middle and one by the speedometer) and the MAN TGX Euro 6 EfficientLine 3 also has something like this that shows how many l the truck has spent in total .
what is the truck name used in parking bake scene ?
For the first tip, I didn’t even knew you can walk and I’m playing that game for 5-6 years at that point 😭
2:10 brooo u saved my life!
Here's something Milan didn't know.....
The man and woman is actually yawning and not snoozing
Good point
Try stopping on a train track in the UK or other parts of the older map. The train wouldn't stop but they don't have a hit box
Great video!
Even The Rain Sensor Wiper Depending On How Hard The Rain Is Will Increase & Decrease According
Nice video! Im playing this game since 2018 and i know everything, only that colors is for me new 😀
About the sun light times: the game knows the exactly right solar cycle on every place on the map.
Thanks Milan!
If i enable automatic parking brake, then I have to remember to disengage it when I'll start moving, right?
5:00 what truck is that
rjl scania
Bruh
Your just squeezing out the facts😁😁
I didn't actually know some of them
Well done your the best ets 2 teacher😎😎
What specific old Scania PRT mod are you downloading? Seems so interesting.
Nice video
Towing off ADAC Truck Service. Badum Tss!
G'day Milan,
haven't been getting to drive much as I am moving house so doing more kms in the real car, but yeah I did notice the price of Fuel last week for me was €1.6? now over €2.
also my niece has been driving too so did get a surprise when she Yawned, I turned & asked her if she was getting tired & wanted to go home "👧It wasn't me, it was the game what do I do?"😂
Even the inflation of prices catched us on ETS2 and ATS X_D
But it's still realistic they change the prices.
1.46 needs to up it to $5.25 a gallon. Yes that's the price of diesel down here in Tennessee, I hate to think what it is in California or New York
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv Im used to high oil prices per liter because I live in Spain
Customizing the truck always feels pointless, I spent way too long from the cabin lol
When lights on railway crossing start blinking and you hear emergency sound the invisible wall is appearing before railway crossing and you can't drive on the crossing before it will physically closed.
activate a setting? for the truck rolling back? Just keep the foot on the brake pedal! or park it somewhere...
The ukraine war affects gas price even in ets2 universe 💀
3:00 if only they could do that irl too
What wheel u using to drive for ? Because mine i have the feeling its somewhat laggy ingame .
I dont use any wheel 🤣🤣 I use the mouse or a joystick
Hey does anyone know how to get that trailer he’s using at 7:50
