A person is more likely to mess up and glitch than a robot specifically programmed to complete this task.

This is SO unnecessary! This just puts creative people out of work. All the lashes by a robot are going to look the same. No thanks. Remember the self-driving mode of Tesla? BOOM! And it's your eyes! Regular lashes aren't expensive. It feels nice to chat about makeup and girly stuff and have my lashtician tell me she likes my new hair and maybe I should go fuller on the outer edges to play on the pin-up look I'm working now. "Silicone Valley Girl" is NOT about your location after all.

No! All the ways you described it apply to a real human lashtician. Why put them out of work? Plus you get to chat about girly things AND they can look at your eyes and creatively decide whether a few more on the end or the middle or whatever might make your eyes pop more. Your lashes looked exactly like any lash extension application. It's no better by machine. It's not expensive.

@momo rama It is a tedious process of gluing lash extensions to the natural lashes. It is an art that estheticians are passionate about and have put so much time and skill into. I have had many estheticians who can do them in an hour and they were the best extensions overall I’ve had. People can do them fast with plenty of practice and practice comes with clients. I definitely am not a fan of this one. The relationships Esthies build w clients are the best part and esthies are so passionate about it.

This is insane. All my friends/ex’s would say how long it takes. An extremely competent person could do it in about 1 1/2 hours. You also have to find the right time slot and the right person in the first place. At best, 15minutes per each eye. Another job eventually (15yrs~) going to go out.
Use castor oil for natural eye lash extensions. It will take 2 minutes in the night before bed.

I think it’s great. I would do it if I used extensions. They make your natural lashes fall out, so if they find a way to prevent that, I would start getting them again.
with proper care, they do not make your natural lashes fall out. you shed 1-5 lashes a day naturally -- the only reason one would think extensions affect that is because you can see them more as they shed since the extensions are darker and more visible.
but they just shed with your natural lashes- hence getting refills, applying to the new lashes that have reached adult phase. its a cycle.
the only reason theyd make your natural lashes fall out past that point is if you rub them or improperly care for them. your lashes already shed naturally, ppl just usually dont notice them shedding on their own 😊
How much are they when done by a person and how much will they be when applied by a robot?
