My favorite comparative example involves Lasik. That robot replaces a surgeon--holding a diamond tipped scalpel--cutting into your eye manually. Even the ophthalmologists that I know who used to do that technique, called a PRK, have no problems with the robot replacing them.

Okay but I’m never going to choose an robot over an human
Why?
Was pretty impressed up until the part where the manufacturer admitted he'll be continuously dippng his fingers into his customers pockets. That's a massive chunk of total profits that you will miss out on as a business owner. $3M revenue over 5yrs isn't very much to begin with, then subtract 5yrs worth of rent, wages, taxes, materials, insurances, advertising, utilities, cleaning, servicing, downtime for unexpected equipment failure etc etc which will leave you with very little yearly total profit, think of how much smaller your total profit is going to be once that service fee is taken out. You'll be making next to nothing... great tech but poor and greedy delivery turning small profit margins into super small profit margins. Overall too many overheads to be scalable and create any sort of wealth and not attractive to franchise when the manufacturer is too controlling with the product.
