- Zachary West broke his tooth and instead of getting a traditional crown, he opted for an implant. But this one was being done with robotic assistance and because of that, an implant which would normally involve a three to four month procedure was done in a day.

nice 😂😂😂
Until they learn how to grow teeth
Some body will figure it out someday might take a while though
@@ihavetubes I wish was faster. The amount of money and helping people. I wish there was more research on this matter. Since implants fail sometimes. And, the material is not guaranted to be pure causing allergy in some people. Symptoms like inflamed gums and body reactions.
@@justlooking8683 I had mentioned grow teeth. They need to learn that faster. They can also learn how to grow gums. Plus, not sure maybe dentristy be less for profit bu ensuring people have a nutritious meals, less snacking, and more fasting.
So no novacaine?
Anesthesia is a must, regardless if you are using a robot or not
Whoever says it will replace dentists guys its only for implants dentists also do extract wisdom, puts braces, prosthodontist, pediatrics and more.......... even though who is that dentist that will buy a 200k dollar machine with 15k dollar per month for maintains? Basically 1 out of 5 million dentists! There are dentists I know still lacks to get the equipment but they are trusted actually. It is briefly a tool that will be used by very very famous big hospitals that are one in each continent. Just don't worry about it! In 1990s they said there will be flying cars in 2020 like LOL and you telling me this will replace dentists.
None of this is any different than a guided implant surgery. Takes less than 10 minutes to place an implant with a guide.
you gotta make the guide though; this is just a scan then surgery immediately
@@Rdc11945751 Last guide I made took 15 minutes and cost about 2 bucks of resin and a 5 buck guide tube, and it accounts for any and all patient movement immediately. And looking at Tao and Feng's published research on the accuracy of this thing, I'm not particularly impressed with those results either. I'd be pretty upset if I was placing an implant 1.5mm off of where I thought I was placing it.
