Catching up on old stories and I wanted to add that the Cotati also were involved with Kun’lun and bringing Iron Fist back from ridiculous death they had written for him in the original Heroes for Hire. It happened in Jim Lee’s run on the Namor title. Of all places. The Iron Fist that had died ended up being a Cotati duplicate while the real one was in stasis after the aliens conquered Kun’lun. It wasn’t green though. Heck, I was just happy to see Iron Fist back after a long absence.
The irony is going into both events: Empyre & DCs Death Metal, I was excited for Death Metal and thought Empyre was going to suck or be boring.... but it wasn’t! Death Metal was the flop and actually really appreciated Empyre. It didn’t set the world on fire but it seemed to sell quite well especially once it focused on EMPEROR Hulkling! LOL
Sal has talked about how they do videos and basically if you want more of those videos you needed to have watched them. More views shows what people want to watch

I haven't read the event, but I am very disappointed Vee wasn't in the book (I assume). In the 2019 Death's Head miniseries, Vee (Death's Head 5 and a teenage version of Death's Head) ends up living in Hulking's apartment at the end of the book. I wish he was there. We need more Death's Head representation dangit!
I enjoyed this event. It's well written, has great art, nicely paced, and even ends on a upbeat note. It also didn't overstay it's welcome. A lot of events are far too long.
In my opinion, this event it’s not that well written. The Kree/Skrull war has been goin on for too long to end just like that. If you apply this situation in the real world, no matter how heroic or noble someone can be, one person alone (or even supported by powerful allies) can’t end centuries, maybe millennia of war, prejudice and blood spilled between two people.
It was so nail biting going into this event worrying that they would do the unthinkable and actually break up or kill off one or both members of Marvel’s most popular gay couple, and I was so damn glad that didn’t happen.
So what you are saying is The Kree Accuser's Ultimate Weapons can be corrupted. Shocking that the Kree Accuser's aren't 100% on the up and up, especially with a name like that.

Because Al Ewing is also the author of Immortal Hulk, which established that none of the Hulks can die, ever. So after Thing beats up the Cotato inhabiting She-Hulk’s body, it starts screaming about the Green Door before dying, and then She-Hulk comes back to life again. It’s even addressed in a tie-in that Jen now is frightened of death because of what she saw through the Green Door after that happened.

Some marvel stories are epic, like xmen days of future past. Some marvel stories are fun like giant size xmen. But the best marvel stories are the ones that are completely nuts and read like a fever dream. Great episode
I like the start of this event but I thought it started to fall apart towards the end and I was really hoping they do more but they only did the thing with Guardians which I enjoyed but I was hoping for more.
The most important thing in this event is the Return of the Black Knight (Dane Whitman) to the Avengers team in the Avengers tie-in. I'm disappointed he didn't fight Swordsman and kick his ass, again.
I read every issue of this on Marvel Unlimited and loved it, but I definitely get the feeling it’s going to be the forgotten event in the future. It’s pretty fun though!
Hopefully because the mcu will be using them we will get some kind of better wiccan and Hulking comic book to go along with their TV show and possibly even a movie. They're already here so you'll never know what could happen. Here's hoping.
I read the entirety of West Coast Avengers to get some backstory on the references from WandaVision, and I'm just now realizing how many things that dumb book was connected to. Doctor Strange vs. Dracula (kinda), Armor Wars, this... weird.
I mean Alicia and Ben were going to do it on their honeymoon cause he can turn into a human for one day a year for some reason. But then the Thing had to fight Hulk (who was being controlled by Alicia’s supervillain father) and got the shit beat out of him so he went to the hospital instead of the hotel room.
Ben seems so salty she-hulk was killed.Only like that Marvel not forgotten Wiccan and Hulkling cause they are my favorites and i was terrified Marvel was gonna pull a Marvel and ruin my favorite relationship in comics.
