Question, I saw that you setup you bank info for payment but I also saw other payment methods that were excepted. What if your customer choose AfterPay how would you get paid?

@@FunWithCalise Hi! It took me one month which was in July 2020. I didn't see large amounts until Oct 2020 which was Q4. Now keep in mind this is revenue not profits.

Your videos are great and I like your personality. I used your link from the old video and started setting up my shop. Unfortunately, I am at a pause after reading Plaid's fine print. IMO, they have way too much access to my banking info. So...I will be setting up a new account at a different bank and then I will resume.

Yes, you can setup your account and then go back and change the banking information. You can apply for your Relay account, and finish the setup of your Etsy shop while you are waiting for your Relay account to get setup.

However... the thought of them suspending my account after all of the setup procedures and then having to go back in and reapply (or beg them) to take another look at one's account is total BS!!! My product is a combination of 2 companies that I had custom make 2 separate items, which I then glue together. Basically merging the kitchen world with the office world. What does renewal options mean? I think you should explain all options? I don’t know what that is or what the two choices are for renewal options. I don’t know if I should skip it cuz i don’t know what it is?
Etsy will charge you a listing fee each time you post a new listing. After someone buys an item from you that listing has to be reposted and Etsy will charge you another 20 cents listing fee. Because of this you have to say if you want Etsy to "Automatically" repost your listing and charge you the fee. Or if you want to "Manually" report your listing after someone makes a purchase. Etsy does have an app that will allow you to manage your shop via your phone. However, I recommend doing the shop setup on a Laptop or pc. You may be able to do the setup on your phone but I have not tried it so I'm not sure if you will run into an issue during the setup process.

I am stuck at the "how you'll get paid" part.. it's telling me it needs to verify my bank account and deposit one cents.. a couple days later, I saw the one cents it deposited, but a couple days after that, they emailed me and said they couldn't verify my bank account.. :( So confusing. But they told me to just reconnect my bank and they'd sent me the one cents again... so far I haven't seen the one cents and it's been a couple days. I'm so confused. My bank does work with Plaid.. has anyone else had this problem? Is it normal? How do I resolve it?

When I get to the "how you'll get paid part" it wants to verify my bank account by deposting one cents... apparently, this is what they do with people who already have a store? But I've never had an etsy store before... and after they deposited the one cents they told me they could not verify my bank info... does anyone know how to resolve this?

Hi! I was wondering if Etsy is asking for payment details of your account isn’t it unsafe by any chance, like prone to scams?
Nothing is scam proof but Etsy has put measures in place so you know when it is them contacting you via Etsy messages. They use a 3rd party service to add your banking information. I also recommend using a business bank account to connect to your shop, not your personal account.
