Awesome tutorial - I've been thinking about selling mugs but am a little intimidated to deal with shipping fees when it comes to POD. Any advice and how does that work with sells from other countries?
We are not telling people is that Printify charges the seller first. So it is not risk free. Imagine if 100 clients buy products from you. Printify will charge you first before the money from the clients gets into your account.
Thanks for this comment. I watched another video that explained the cash flow risk you describe. It is a really important item to consider. Thanks for posting your comment to highlight this consideration and risk.
@@BirdsPawsandMore It is not the about the cashflow risk but people present POD as it does not require investment. Which is completely false. The Printing company charges you first and you have to wait for the money from the client.
Yes, definitely something to be aware of! I have several videos that talk more in depth about all the true startup costs of POD.

Ok so stupid question...once I have the photo and name from the customer, do I have to send the design to printify to make and ship or is it something you upload to Etsy and send to printify. My concern is the 'how' and also the need to be available all the time to create these custom designs. I am probably missing the obvious but had to ask

Especially if you will be using text, you’ll still have to check any phrases or keywords you use in your listing/design.

Question, I’m having an issue with editing only black color T-shirts with white color text without changing the rest of the T-shirt colors with a black text when I go edit specific color and press safe product and Printify it changes the color white on the T-shirt colors instead of only changing the black color T-shirt

I completely apologize for that comment. I didn’t mean that I’m bummed out that you’re doing so well I’m thrilled for you and for all the successful sellers. I’m just struggling no sob story but single parent two kids and I’m trying to support a house and like everybody else, everything is tight and I thought I could, do this and make some money I’m not looking for six figures. I know that that’s probably crazy but I just see all the videos from Etsy Seller and you know they say I just made $10,000 a month selling this one T-shirt or I’m sure you know what I’m talking about just seeing thevideo headlines and just hoping it’s gonna come our way. I don’t know. I’m probably not making much sense. I apologize again. I didn’t mean anything negative by it.
What about licensing for images generated from AI, and images from mockups?
Concerning costs. If you are selling directly on Etsy does printify charge Etsy account for the sale or your personal account? Seeing Etsy holds the purchase income for whatever you choose. If that makes any sense?

Yes! You should change the design via Printify otherwise the old design will get made.
You have resurrected my desire to do mugs. I thought faith based mugs and patriotic ones would be a place I could settle in…I have sold to some of my church ladies but not to the general public. Just found your channel and subscribed. I tried opening a second etsy shop for my digital products and they shut it down before I could post my first product. I did use a different email. Am I missing something about opening a second shop?
You can open a second shop but Etsy are being odd in that their bots are shutting them down in minutes. Have you tried appealing their decision? If not, try doing so.

Shutting down new accounts is something a lot of online businesses do, to combat bots. Video games do it too and we have to appeal and prove we didn't cheat when we killed the new boss sooner than they believe we could legally.

Hello I had a question, if the Etsy fee is 2.00 and cost of mug is 4.00, 6$ total you sell for 12.99 you profit 6$? I’m confused, isn’t that just your money back?

I have a number of lessons included about selling mugs. It is definitely apparel heavy, but much of the foundational modules teach strategies that apply to all pod products.
When I create my AI design and then upload it to the coffee mug template on Printify, it's way too small. Any suggestions?
Definitely make sure your canvas size is the same as what Printify recommends and that you are downloading as a png!

Etsy has become so frustrating! Every time I open a new store, it gets banned just after a few days or right after making the first sale! It's starting to feel just like eBay. 😒
