Speaking from a mechanic point of view, i don't recommend cleaning your tools beyond a simple wipe off. Tool that are very clean rust out very fast after being chemically clean; especially adjustable tool with moving parts. On your tools you want that oil residue to protect you tools from rust and prevent them from locking up because they are dry.
I was dreading cleaning the shower since it’s such a hassle, and I came across this video I was like let me give this a go if not I’ll go to Home Depot and get a expensive shower cleaner… I did the ratio as said , and let me tell you ! I have never seen my shower so clean ! It definitely did the job and removed EVERYTHING! And even the shower dial that turns on the water I’ve never seen it sparkle like that ! The ratio she tested is spot on and I definitely recommend this technique! Made cleaning the shower way easier and I didn’t have to be enclosed in a small space with harsh fumes if I had used a regular cleaner ! Thank you so much for the tips and tricks
I have poo-pooed this product since it came out. Bought my first bottle last week and finished it in 5 days. Literally cleaned my entire kitchen including oven which was disgusting. Am totally sold! Thanks for the video 😊
Dreft platinum dishsoap in Dutch Fairy in Germany, 200ml water-200 ml vinegar- 50 ml rubbing alcohol and 50 ml Dreft platinum together in a spray bottle 👍 perfect cleaner . Dawn in Europe is Fairy ore Dreft 👍
💲You can make your own, too. All you need is a bottle that will spray in a "mist," 13 ounces warm water, 1 ounce rubbing alcohol (70%, not anything higher), and 2 ounces Dawn dish liquid. I've even made mine with Great Value brand dish soap, and it works just as well! Also, you DO want to add the dish soap last to avoid a lot of suds and bubbles. Personally, I think the easiest way to do it is to use one of those kitchen scales and measure right into your empty bottle. We all need to save some money these days and clean the house, too. This trick has really helped me, so I hope it helps someone else.
Thanks for the video. But please don't wash tools. And if you do please oil them when you are done. The oil from using them is typically great to keep the tool lubricated and rust free.
Range hood filters. Just put them in the dishwasher and run the strongest cycle and it will be super clean. Others are great ideas and looking forward to using them soon.
Love this video. I saw how the power wash was helping me with the dishes and I decided to use it in the oven. Unfortunately I don’t have a self clean oven. I used the power wash let it sit a few minutes, used a sponge to scrub lightly, then rinsed it with water and I’m telling you it worked better than anything I’ve ever used. So I emailed P&G about it and they said “Do not do that!!!” No joke they said don’t do it. No explanation only that it’s not approved for anything but dishes. I got worried. But if it’s safe on dishes why wouldn’t it be in the oven if you rinsed well after? I think this product it’s amazing at cleaning all kinds of stuff but the oven really blew me away. I cannot use oven cleaner because I can’t breathe in the fumes. Any idea why this isn’t safe for oven?
I use it all the time and love it. My husband won’t use it on dishes because he thinks anything that powerful must have some bad chemicals in it. I still use it though.
Very nice. Not sure about driveway. I just plug in the electric power washer and go at it. If that's your granite top, make sure you seal it once a year or so. I can't believe in a 67 year old guy and I like your videos!!!!
Would this work well as on ovens and oven racks? Looks like miracle cleaner, but I have to wonder, what chemicals are in there doing this, and how safe are they for the environment? Has everyone already forgotten "Silent Spring" ?
You can make your own powerwash using regular Dawn: just fill Power wash container about 1/4 full & rest with water & you have made your own much cheaper
It’s close but if you’re not picky. I made my own and my husband wasn’t a fan. He said it doesn’t spray as well. Maybe I should try again. I replace things to see if he notices. And he usually does. I’ve seen recipes with, I think, rubbing alcohol.
Do you find any real difference between the Dawn Powerwash and regular blue Dawn? The spray bottle is awesome but we can buy a spray bottle like this so besides the bottle, is there really a difference?
Dawn Powerwash spray adheres to surfaces and you can be precise with it. Just spray where you need it. Instead of soaking in water or adding it to water, Dawn Powerwash works without it. I spray it on dishes, then rinse. I may need to scrub some. See this short demo: th-cam.com/video/VsPlbHtBVKA/w-d-xo.html the cheese was baked on and hardened on the plate. Powerwash melted through the mess. I still had to scrub some, but not as much as usual. I use a lot less Powerwash. It's more expensive for sure but I love it. Now I hardly ever use regular Dawn.
is Dawn Powerwash better than Dawn Ultra Platinum? i use my air fryer, and the grease is plentiful! i want something to cut through that grease so quickly, it will make John Travolta raving mad!
Could you open it and pour it into another refill when it's out? It's so frustrating. I have some hairspray that won't spray. I'm going to have to transfer it to another one that does work, after I empty it. Or try returning it to the store you bought it from.
You had me right up until you put it on the carpet. You never put any kind of soap on your carpet without rinsing it REALLY well with clean cool water. Dirt sticks to the residue and once dried is very hard to rinse out.
I just brought this product but the sprayer is impossible to use. Half time it doesn’t spray. It also leaks. Just I will pour in another sprayer bottle to use
I remember Marth Stewart had a washing machine download of what is best based on the stain. Blood, grease, grass, dirt, etc. It was like another avatar but for cleaning..lol
I’ve never seen anyone clean tools other than just wiping them off. It’s so silly for people to want to clean their tools and make them look new again that’s not real mechanic work.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe it doesn’t need to disinfect because it cleans and eliminates germs just as well as an antibacterial agent. Furthermore, constantly using disinfecting products is unhealthy by lowering immune systems and causing antibacterial resistant superbugs. We don’t get sick after washing our dishes in Dawn for a reason, because the soap washes away all of the yucky and dangerous stuff that could make us sick.
Oh no. I'm sorry you feel that way. My experience has been competitive different and we use it all the time. But thank you for sharing your experience. 😃

Great advice, thank you.
Yeah I'm stopping watching after that 🙄
Whoever invented dawn powerwash deserves a reward. Because Dawn powerwash works like a charm. And the dawn powerwash, commercials don't tell a lie.

I use it in my bathroom now to clean sink, toilet and tub! Love it.
I thought it was just TikTok hype, but this product really is incredible! I use it daily now
I agree! I don't even buy regular dawn any more. I love the powerwash
It's great for when there's like 1 wasp around. Wait until it lands, directly spray it, and just wait a while. Better than any bug spray imo
It's an ant killer also

Thank you for the tip and thorough instructions. I’ve tested it and it didn’t spray as well as the original sprayer, but maybe I’ll try again.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe mine didn't foam as well; and I used the original bottle. I guess it works well enough, but I'll be getting the refills
I honestly think this washes better then traditional dish detergent. Love this stuff.
Me too. I don't buy regular dawn anymore 😊
Thanks for the video. But please don't wash tools. And if you do please oil them when you are done. The oil from using them is typically great to keep the tool lubricated and rust free.
My tile Floors have small ridges had so much dirt in them I used this and my tile floors look brand new! Recommend it!

Yes that works well if you have one. Thanks for the comment.
I finally bought it and is 100% WORTH THE HYPE
The Dawn Powerwash also removes labels and adhesive residue!
Wow I didn't know that I will use that trick🙌
And LIKE A BOSS! Better than that Goo Gone stuff, for sure!
Yes it's all bc of the rubbing alcohol in it 😊
It’s because of the rubbing alcohol in it
I've typically used regular Dawn (straight &/or mixed w/vinegar) for most of these cleanings. Power Wash is pricey w/out a coupon.

@@TheOnlyTexasNinja or to make another product and claim it is for oven
I bet its fine for the oven, they just don't want to be sued if something does go wrong with off label use
Maybe because it has alcohol in it?
I agree they don't want to be sued if something goes wrong
Also you don't want it to hit any electrical elements.
It's the best cleaner for the stove top for sure.
Just an FYI. Please rinse the floor of your shower well. It can become extremely slick!
I use it all the time and love it. My husband won’t use it on dishes because he thinks anything that powerful must have some bad chemicals in it. I still use it though.
I use the clear one they sell now….lovin it!
The foam is great stuff too.
I love ❤️ it for my sinks and counters
If you have grease stains in clothes that won't come out, brush some dawn on, then pour boiling water over it and wash. No more grease.

Great cleaning products
I love this video. I have done much of the same thing too. We've used it to clean patios and stain removers too.
It's also good for killing and driving away cockroaches and other household pests. It's also good for treating poison ivy rashes.
Greasy tools prevents rust.
Great to show anyway we can cleaning , but unfortunately I don't see after spraying and result that didn't show.
I use this soap for many things, how you have shown other ways like the bathroom
i got some yesterday and i went through half the bottle in 2 days... 😅
im in love with this

What kinda cloths are theese I've been looking for some good white cloths to clean with
Thanks for the excellent tips !
Can you use it on dishes?
What is the difference between just dawn and dawn+vinegar?
does this work for underarm stains and ring around the collar ?
YES.
You touched the greasy tools. How do you deal with that? A regular old 20 second hand wash W/ dawn platnum😁?
It works inside the oven door also.
I just wanted to learn how to use it for dishes
You can make your own powerwash using regular Dawn: just fill

Is it just me or does dawn power wash make cleaning fun?
I just sprayed everything lol at 3am
It IS fun. I use it so much more than I use just regular dawn.
I just bought this for the first time and this is exactly what I’m hoping for!! 😅
It's just you
Well done
Wonder is is safe for granite

Truth Teller - That was also my question.
Besides the consistent spray stream, I personally think it’s more concentrated and a just spray goes a long way 👍🏼
There's some alcohol included which helps with oily greasy dirt. You can buy simple dish detergent and add rubbing alcohol.
Wow! What about my smoker grates? Subscribing.
Ooh! I imagine it would get them squeaky clean as well :)
I love the power wash but let me give y’all another tip. Plain ole Dawn is great to wash your dog with. Many vets use this.
Hey great tip! I don't have pets myself but lots of our viewers do. Thank you!
Yes I used this on a cat I found on the street
Be careful! I read about a cat that died a very painful death after ingesting this. Plain Dawn is ok, but I don't think powerwash is.
I have many pets but I keep my power wash up on the counter, so no worries.
Bad idea! Strips the dogs natural oils.
is Dawn Powerwash better than Dawn Ultra Platinum? i use my air fryer, and the grease is plentiful! i want something to cut through that grease so quickly, it will make John Travolta raving mad!
That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing!!
I hate the smell of vinegar. Why do you need to add vinegar to power wash for some things?
Can i clean the inside of the fridge with it?
Buy this product once for the bottle. Then make your own for super cheap 13 oz water, 2 oz of dawn or generic dawn, and 1 oz isopropyl alcohol.
I cannot get the replacement/refill to spray?? Any suggestions
Could you open it and pour it into another refill when it's out? It's so frustrating. I have some hairspray that won't spray. I'm going to have to transfer it to another one that does work, after I empty it.
Or try returning it to the store you bought it from.
Bj’s sells refills ☺️
Smart and Final sells some I think!
Also, you can always find anything on Amazon and it would probably arrive the same day , if not the next
I have used it to clean my coal powered 1/8 scale locomotive to clean off the oil and coal soot.
Just refill it with water, sodium hydroxide and a bit dishwasher - get better results for a fraction of the price ; )
or just put the range hood filter in the dishwasher
Also a good option if you have a dishwasher. Not everyone does though.
100% agreed if you own a dishwasher. Comes out super clean and almost zero work.
Awesome video. Never used dawn power wash.
Thanks. I really like it. It works so well on many things.
You had me right up until you put it on the carpet. You never put any kind of soap on your carpet without rinsing it REALLY well with clean cool water. Dirt sticks to the residue and once dried is very hard to rinse out.
Nice tips! However, grease on tools is like the gray hairs in the beard of a Dad. Let those tools show off their hard work and resilience! 🤣🤣🤣
Please never ever take dawn to tools. I much rather a greased tool than a dryer out one that is about to rust and seize up.
where do you get the brush from
The dollar store has both the bottle brush and wand sponge
Great video
Thank you so much 😀👍
I can't find it anywhere!
It's on Amazon amzn.to/3qrApk0
Costco
I just brought this product but the sprayer is impossible to use. Half time it doesn’t spray. It also leaks. Just I will pour in another sprayer bottle to use
Oh no. It sounds faulty. See if you can exchange it for another one.

What??!!! They make an apple scent??? Where are my car keys? Thanks!
It works better without any vinegar. The addition of vinegar is unnecessary.
I remember Marth Stewart had a washing machine download of what is best based on the stain.
Blood, grease, grass, dirt, etc. It was like another avatar but for cleaning..lol
Stay away from my tools 😂😂😂
I have found the cleaning vinegar is an inexpensive way to remove grease and grime. I use it on just about everything.

Thanks for watching. 😃
if you have to add things like vinegar and baking soda, then it is not that great on it's own.
Fw1 I love too
Don’t put water and soap on tools they should be lubricated greasy is better

Do not use on oil based finishes
