Okay, this is weird. I texted my wife to pick up some Dawn Powerwash less than an hour ago. When she got home I asked if the store had the Dawn. It did. Then, I opened TH-cam and this video popped up. Tell me that Google isn’t monitoring everything we do on our devices and that it might also be listening to us.

this mixture is great to kill bugs, several years ago i had those stink bugs in my home, hearing that your not supposed to squash them because they emit a scent to draw more stink bugs i decided to make this mixture in my one spray bottle, i'd spray it on the bug, it foams up and smothers them. then scoop them up and out in the trash. it also works on other creepy crawlys too. i keep a bottle handy just for this, no toxic bug sprays.

the actual FOAMING comes from the mechanism itself, you'll see in this bottle & in other hand-soap foaming bottles that the pump top has an extra component that the other bottles do not, that's the piece that causes the FOAMING.
---the alcohol helps with streaking but is not needed, however, it might also help as a disinfectant on surfaces & in your hand soap.

Here's another helpful tip: to pretty much eliminate the chances of things foaming up, put the water and the alcohol in the bottle first and then add the soap! After you have finished pouring in all your ingredients and put on the cap, then you'll need to give it a bit of a shake to mix things up.

Multiply that by ALL the products that are being marketed just like this. Big companies are price gouging. I saw Tide for $29.00 in walmart. It claimed 6 mos. of laundry (10 loads/ month). What a waste of money.I do more like 20 loads a month. I have stopped buying dryer sheets, put up my clothesline and cut usage for other products. Where there is a will, there is a way. Oh, BTW, I can afford these things, but it infuriates me and insults my intelligence that the public is being cheated every time they go to the store. Also, mix your own products is another way to save.

Borax, washing soda, baking soda, oxiclean, zote or other laundry bar or like me I make my own coconut oil soap and shred that. Mix altogether and you have laundry soap for about a year if you do normal washing. Recipes all over TH-cam and you only use like 1 or 2 tablespoons per load. You can even make a liquid soap too. As the original inventor having publish the formula many times for years online it is hydrogen peroxide being the ingredient. No reason to add alcohol unless you are really going after some very greasy stuff which should be well wiped first. Dilute the hydrogen peroxide, 3% common grade, with half water. If you want a fine six legged insect killer , not spiders, or more virulent mix, use the 3% hydrogen peroxide full strength. This will quickly end any six legged insect. I use for wasp like hornets. Nice thing about this mix is it is not toxic to humans.

---the alcohol helps with streaking but is not needed, however, it might also help as a disinfectant on surfaces & in your hand soap.
