However maybe she didn’t expect at all Butcher to have these powers, or maybe it was impossible to predict by nature (bc it’s a tumor)

I think it was sort of convenient that they killed Victoria at the end of season 4. Taking into account that we couldn't had 2 blood benders sharing on the same screen, they decided to kill one so that the other one could have more development on the show. Possibly Moreau might be of a good use if we get to see her back for season 5. But honestly, I will do miss Victoria. She was one of my favorite ones.
Nah your right. This scene tells us Neuman should have sensed the tentacles inside Butcher, as if there were more ways in which that scene had to make less sense.

Homelander in season 2 said A-Train probably isn't even top20 anymore so super speed can't be that rare. Enhanced senses in different degrees were present in Homelander, Tek Knight or Blindspot. Also Teddy Stillwell and Butcher both had laser eyes. I think genetics play a factor only when you directly inherit somebody's powers like Ryan but regular genotype probably has nothing to do with powers you get after injection.
@@gutzbin It was in middle of season 2, at that point Homelander never expressed any animosity towards A-Train yet. It only started after Starlight got promoted. And even if he did lie, to be effective the lie has to be at least somewhat believable. Which already confirms that there are many speedsters.
Neuman was very charismatic and compelling in the scene. She was also completely right about everything (despite being a monster). Marie should have listened to her.
