The fact that 5 supes were able to create so much havoc in a campus filled with wannabe superheros is odd to me. I would imagine many of the students would jump at the opportunity to prove themselves.
A lot of them have useless powers, which is part of why it’s so hard to get into the crime fighting school and there aren’t that many of them that we see. For example, what’s tail girl gonna do? Also, some of them like the ones at the Neumann event agree with those 5.

It's actually the most realistic to me. Most of the students are in the entertainment sector of majors, as the majority aren't allowed into anything else. It goes to show how many are actually in there through sheer capability, like Jordan, to the others who're there for their ability to capture an audience. Vought isn't fair at all, so no doubt that there are very good fighters stuck in liberal arts. However, again, it shows that vought needs it's entertainers way more than it needs it's cast.
Cate and Andre were just sad, in my opinion. Andre was in a "relationship" with Cate while Luke and Cate were still a thing? Even after Luke committed suicide, they were still... yk. ANDDD Luke and Andre were "friends," so.. It's just unsettling for me.

i'd imagine his powers would give him a certain resistance to other powers born from compound V. Especially with how comfortable he is threatening Neuman throughout the show, since if he didn't have that same resistance, she could probably have killed him 20 times by now

They're against Cate because Cate has shown to become unpredictable in what her values and morals are. She goes from apologetic and regretful for hurting her friends, to moving into the next stage of her grief -- motivated anger/justification. Now THAT is dangerous, Cate's powers only fuel this danger to such a height that it's no wonder Homelander is extremely impressed with her.
