Couple of tips: - When you only drop off stuff, use a truck unloading station, they are MUCH faster! - You would have much more happiness if you used the "truck station" mod
The issue with the machines factory is not the lack of demand, nor the silver supply (and now has 747 moving it). The problem is the STEEL: Steel factory has enough supply of coal and iron ore, but the planes are just not moving enough steel to the machines factory. This is a 1 - 1 ratio line, they used to fly 51 steel, and bring back 51 machines, but with a new city consuming machines from the same factory, now they are picking less machines back, and the steel coming in is just not enough for both cities consumption. Either you put more capacity in the planes line (747 like the silver one maybe) or replace it with a train line. Keep up the series, love it.
I swear... Squirrel could do 100 episodes of this world and people would still watch... Transport Fever 2 is like Minecraft with infinite possibilities but in an economic sort of way... I am so excited this Saturday as I have maybe about 6 hours of Transport Fever 2 footage to watch... But for now i’m binge watching the My Summer Car series... which is a perfect prompt for Squirrel to come back and play My Summer Car again
You could improve plastic transport by dropping it off at the paper mill, and having those ships running everything to the goods factory. Since they're making that run half full anyway (iirc). Also guarantees factory balance if you tell them to haul half-loads of both products.
i started making all my rail connections as long as possible since id rather make 35m a line the 3.5m. also the longer the line the longer between intervals at the depot thus making less congestion, note i stopped with the circle lines since i wasnt making any coin with them and now use a central "hub" that i have go from each city to a hub where i get paid for them twice. and im considering connecting the passenger hubs with airpots later. i got a line where i connect 2 ore and 2 coal to a depot, then run a bunch of 600meter long trains to the steel yard, main route making 40m per train i got 4 on there, and supply routes are between 20-25m each so thats roughly 240m plus for a line i used to make like 30m at before i realized i dont get paid to fill orders, i get paid to travel junk
Man, you have a train line running all the way from Sandhurst to the Mitcheldean factory, but you've used a ship instead :/ It would be more interesting to see you try to make the most elegant solutions based on what already exists rather than constantly plopping new lines everywhere and gouging out huge parts of the map.
To ease up traffic build a elevated ring road around the outskirts of the City with as many wide streets as possible other then the Transport roads helps alot as cars will spread out more
I would have flown the plastic in to the goods factory. Also in town delivery, you can set up 2 delivery stops in the city. Also check out the increased city demands mod. It makes it so citys will require additional goods like transport fever 1.
Nice video. I'd propose you optimize your projects cause the earning potential of your map might be double or triple your current earnings. Then try and improve transport for personal cars by building highways and and express ways
@@stupidstuff8970 I can't agree more, I believe the earnings should come to around 1bn usd per anumn, or more if he decides to optimize the map. Right now the savings should have been more than 80bn usd.
@@stupidstuff8970 he's got 30-60k views on every video of this series. He probably plays that way to entertain us, it'd probably be boring to see him just modifying old lines every episode.
@@EliseoCaporale You gave a reason why he is playing bad. You maybe are right, maybe not, I don't understand much about entertainment, but that doesn't mean he is playing the game like it should be played. Besides that, I'd argue that figuring out the balance is more entertaining than stretching another stretch of tracks. Maybe it's just me, but that is a huge aspect of the game that is just being neglected.
It’s not really necessary since you’re profitable, but why don’t you add extra stops to your cargo deliveries in the towns? That way you can get a much larger demand on goods.
Your choice of landing direction at Sandhurst Airport has put the flight path right of Sandhurst residences at low landing altitude. Would changing the landing direction get a better flight path?
The ships all cluttered together at the end of the video, instead of dropping 6 ships on, drop 2, then wait a bit, drop another 2 etc and manually spread them out from the depot. Yes it takes up more time, but you wasted that same time trying to sort it out.
Would be nice if you could give us the save game file, then have your subscribers create their own take on your saved game then go through it for a video. Just a thought.
Yes, i want it too... I like to drive with the trains, fly with the aircrafts and ride with the trucks and busses.. Also i like to search for improvements for efficiency..
Tbh it doesn't really work in game, the capacities don't really make sense and no factories have the capacity to output the volumes they carry. And no dock can hold even close to the capacity to fill while it's on a return journey.
this series inspired me to buy the game too but i have a question. i have a wheat line but its running out of wheat to transport (i went overboard when i bought carriages) but is it possible to transport wheat to another wheat station with a train and then get it loaded onto the cariages that take it further?
@22:40 When I do canals and trains near cities, I build road bridges to enable city growth on the "other side". Works a charm!
You should make a ferry between Mitcheldean and Ludgershall - Id love to see how passenger ships work
Couple of tips:

I looked for the truck station mod and could not seem to find it. Is it just called truck station?
@@darkdrakex Sorry for not being more specific. It is called "Street station construction extended"
@@TheSkogemann I'll look into it thanks.

I never understood why you have only one drop point in every city and not multiple ones

Great series!
Have you considered adding multiple drop points for the truck routes into cities?
Did you notice you put Henry instead of Henley, on the ship paper route?

The cargo airplane that I am surprised no one modded is the 767. The natural change over from the 757 and they are still used in large numbers today
This is still such a great series. Thanks for your continued support for this great game.

Those ships at the end should absolutely have crashed into a massive water based pileup.
Do the Evergiven, at least put one on a clone line, allocate a different dock for it, FOR THE MEMES!!!
Wow, nice long series, thank you for sticking with this, really enjoying this one!
18:05 Pretty sure it was Baldrick that always had the "cunning" plans, not Blackadder.
We need Evergreen
YEAH another one! love it i need more gimmi gimmi. Sleep food and transport fever video's from squirrel is all i need to stay alive.

You should add more than one drop-off point for your towns, at least 2 routes going different directions for the same cargo.
Paul I think your crude ships are taking some of the plastic back to the oil well.

Yep he is not revisiting his lines and optimizing them. He is not playing good, just connecting lines is only one part of the game.

Hi
Put Multiple drop off point in towns and divide truck to them for more cover and increase demand for stuff
always remember. ship from he-eaaar to thuuuuuuuuuaaaah

I wonder what the map will look like at episode 200. Maybe evolve into Trantor (from Foundation)?

The ship delivering plastic takes too long, maybe a small plane will be better.
It was a blast as always. Thank you for going so long on this one~ keep em commin!
I'm surprised anything is growing since everything is going to Ontario.
I'm curious as to what the evergiven ship looks like now

30:15 if so the crude oil is trucked to the port then to the refinery, why didn't you trucked them directly to it? what a redundancy.
Are you going to cover passengers ships at some point?
Nicely done as ever!
Are there disasters, strikes, accidents to deal with, or these are not in this game?

Ooh, i still hate the Chemical Plant noise...
That horrible squeaking goes right up my spine.
how do u get the mod industrys on the map wat u got to do to put them on the map thanks
It triggers me you didn't put the 600 capacity Virgo ship on the plastic line double the capacity would have paid bulk
