You mentioned eventually making 2 truck drop off points in wide spread city districts. Most of your cities really could use 2, but you don't seem inclined to do it. Yes, it would mean 2 routes on one line. You could do it off camera. It would take a while, but i think your cities would appreciate it
As you say, I think you need an episode where you go through each line and optimise it. Iron our some of the biggest losses. Would be great to see how to troubleshoot lines and find out why they're losing money etc.
You changed the Load \ Unload on Henley Conmat on the drop off point "Richmond Road" and not the depot. However, the depot can only use the Conmat truck route now, so you probably won't notice.
You could've put a tools line in from the tools factory to Ludgershall and Twickenham. By the way, you should link passengers from Worthing to Twickenham
Since both logs and planks use flatcars, I wonder why Henley Planks line wasn't run through a station at the log camp. The train would then be paid for 3/4 of its round trip. At this stage of the game , it could easily be afforded and the difference in profit from running trucks to trains is irrelevant.
Curious if the following strategy would address truck pollution in residential areas: if you tunnel a road underneath residential and come up in the industrial areas to drop off, will the game still penalize you for having trucks go "through" residential even though they're underground?
13:52 squirrel, are you already using the oil that is located at the end of the street? the street that goes to the port and that goes under the lumberyard
When do you realize, that a train can only go into one platform? You always have to set the platform for each train/ship so they can work properly. So these diamond interchanges you put everywhere are useless, unless you use more than one line on the same track, which should go into different platforms. There is no "they can choose...". Double tracking and signaling is ok, though.
Say you have two tracks, track A and track B, laid side by side. And they feed into a station with two platform tracks, X and Y. X has to be allowed to get from A, and get onto B. It's already connected to A directly, so you just add a track coming out of the station-side of A and leading to B. Then Y has to be allowed to do the same - get from A and get onto B. It's directly connected to B, so you need to add a track coming off of A and leading to station-side B. And thus, the diamond interchange is born. If the trains using platforms X and Y don't both need to go in that direction, you can get away with disconnecting whichever isn't in use, in which case you just use a Y junction. But it doesn't hurt to put in a diamond for future proofing cases, as interchanges can be finicky, meaning future adjustments can be difficult.
squirrel been watching for years remeber me watching u as a young lad in olive garden like 6 years ago getting a pc soon gonna start playing ets2 keep on truckin
You don't manage the town traffic, so it doesn't compare that way. You can lower emissions by directing your trucks and busses, which can grow the town. But TF2 isn't CS.
is there a possibility oder maybe a mod to controll the ways planes go? I want that they fly trough the gaps between the cities. My problem is: I need plastic and i have food. And on the map the next free oil, i do not need in future for other, nearer industries, is on the other side of the map. There is also a city which needs building materials and i have this on the other side of the route. I can supply the city with nearer stones, but so i can double-use the route. I think i have 3 options: 1st: Planes... but the straight route is over 4 cities... which is bad for emission. 2nd: trains... i have to build a doupletrack all over the huge map and between existing tracks and use several long trains, which i can not load on the way back because stone, building material and fuel are not compatible. 3rd: i use for half the distance vessels and trains for the rest. Planes are also here not good because of 2 cities and this are areas of the map, i have not the space for it.
I know people don't like preventing the game from taking other stuff along with the goods you want, but "Oh dear, how sad nevermind". You just have to get on with it
Them passengers are probably wishing they didn't have to get off at every stop on the trains, if only they did intercity routes instead of shuttles, like how real trains do... :P
once you reach 1 bil theres really not much more to spend money on, sure you could put airports and planes everywhere but then you just get even more money from the planes
@@agentbarron3945 with that logic , whats the point of playing then? its all about efficiency , sometimes you need to lose some to something else back.He is trying to satisfy all the city needs but with that pace.. not gonna happened :/
You need more drop off stations... you're transporting 100% of tools that the area covers. Add more to cover entire demand.
This means adding multiple dropoff locations on a line that is delivering goods inside the City so that you get full coverage.
I’ve seen at least 5 comments like these on each of the past 8 videos lol

Why do t u just add 2 truck drop off spots so u can cover all the area
He never does that, also his train depo placment gives me eye cancer
@@blubac same lol
Please check on the plastic line from Worthing to Sandhurst too. Something must've horribly gone fiddling with that area.

And once we're done - ON TO A NEW MAP with 100% Terrain - 100% water - 100% forest

for all cities with pax problems you could use higher capasity buses but have fewer of them
Awesome map! Got much inspiration out of this series for my own map on TF2. Thanks again for uploading!

Enjoying the great content Squirrel.
Great video mate
Squirrel...have you played Railroads Online yet?
Good timing
Hi Squirrel, I think you accidentally set timer for max stop time instead of min at 10:22. Correct me guys if I am wrong

First time I see gameplay of this game, love it, but wonder about the traffic AI compared to cities skyline.

Have you built the company headquarters yet? LOL
Yes more more more of this paul more
Are you going to make a series on FS22?
Don't forget to check the planes supply line , something has stopped the supply of goods.. and your losing 66 million .. a very big loss.
Is there a way to make the town grow on the other side of the train tracks?
Tunnel/bridge through/over it and it will continue...
Could you have an underground station?

You should only worry about plane emissions if the airport is close to the city

would you ever try playing workers and resources soviet republic its a really good game to play and watch for viewers
My brain kind of exploded.

am i the only one who is waiting for TGV line?
Can you make a train simulator video in the class 142 Pacer
