it is 2050 in your world and some major roads (Loughton-MaS, Loughton-Thatcham, etc) are still dirt roads, I know you don't want to improve them for public transports sake, but at least pave them especially the Loughton to Mablethorpe since you removed the train connection maybe put a bus on it. Enjoying the series a lot, your best one after my summer car.
My wishlist: 1. You eventually realize that line rate exists and you can utilize them effectively 2. You don’t need a road separating your bus and freight depot from your train station. The tendrils that connect are basically paths that pedestrians walk on from the bus station into your train station. They don’t need to walk on a road.
I feel like the issue with how long it takes for the passenger lines to ramp up is the traffic feedback loop, traffic is slowing down your buses leading to passengers opting to drive themselves leading to more traffic. Given enough time I feel like it would fix itself as people start using them traffic decreases and your buses get faster, leading to more bus usage.
I think by removing the Mablethorpe to Loughton comnection you removed the only way to get from Thatcham to Loughton by train, since the only train running between these cities is a freight
it's not really handy that you have a bushub in the center while most visitors have to go to the bushub in the centre and from there go to work or shop. In my opinion your bushubs should stick to a trainstation. from there your buses can go every direction and back, so everyone can get on the train or off the train in a bus.
I wonder, why won't you place 1-2 bridges across your train networks, so that the city can develop over the train tracks? Both in Thatcham and in Mablethorpe the city is spilling to the opposite side, I'm assuming it'd be identical for other cities should they have an opportunity, as from what I can see they won't build bridges themselves. Also, the trains between these two are shit, the old no-tractive-effort push-pulls that cannot reach half of their miserable speed :V
i think all those entrance roads are a bit overkill for the main bus stations. Probably 2 roads are more then enough and will lead to more space for buildings around the station so it looks much better! Love your videos!

This idea with buses worked but I dont like the fact that you destroy one large block of housing in the city centre and created large bus hubs in residential area (both cities). There has to to be some different way how to do it properly (in next series).
Why did you build the bus station at the train station to be three bays if you only needed one? Why did you build the adjacent road to be four lanes when nothing will be able to use it? Squirrel, you shouldn’t delete vast parts of the city as you are removing future “customers”. If you had followed my tip from the last video you would need half the bays and been able to keep more residents. The links you use to connect the hub mean no new residences will get built and people can’t walk to the hub unless they’re coming from the main road. Mabelthorpe and Thatcham are too big for the hub to be effective as it means all journeys have to go to the centre even if your journey is 45 degrees. You should add additional routes to the train station bus station to all areas of the city. Citizens will transfer, so make sure these routes cross the ones you’ve put in.
love the series, but you should really upgrade your vehicles. you're still using trains from '50 and old buses. I suggest a overhaul on the trains and buses.

Did I read somewhere that any single bus stop will indeed service both sides of the road? Or am I confusing that tidbit with some other game, i.e. Skylines?
One simple way to clear the traffic jam would be downgrade the highway to smallest one with bus lane Then people will be forced to use the public transport if possible
Why not downgrade that road to a single lane. Surely that will make driving a less attractive option as the traffic will be even worse so they will be more likely to use public transport?
I used to respect the fact that inspite of the hate you keep posting videos but really these r just ridiculous you have no emotion for any of these like love for buses or trains or the ergonomics of them. You r like that kid who is just doing it for parents sake as everyone else is doing it.

You deleted only train route between Loughton and that mountain city. Maplethrope something? What's the harm in letting it be there?
I kinda wished you hadn't demolished part of downtown for a bus station - but I'm optimistic of what the future holds for this city.

Maybe consider a train intercity between Tatcham and Loughton, but via Mt&S, instead of the 2 shuttle services.

For the max number of bus platforms they could have made go to 10 but this one goes to 11.
