I have a 2013 Genesis and people still say "That's a Hyundai?"All my friends with Audis and BMWs had issues and mine has been flawless. It performs well for a big sedan and all I have to do is change the oil. I used to have a CTS that stayed in the shop more than it was on the road. I just wish I waited a few years to get it because it's a fraction of what I paid for it now.
You shouldn't regret buying that car. You bought it and are enjoying it. It's easy to say; I should have waited. This way it's easy to fall into thinking that you should always have to wait for that "next big thing". Why postpone something, when it can be done today? Yes, sometimes it's wiser financially. Like when buying a new computer part, or smartphone. Anything in life can happen. It's unpredictable. So make the most of it.
God bless the 4th-gen Acura TL. I bought an '09 used, which ran amazingly until it got totaled a few years back. I immediately got a '12 to replace it, and I'm confident it can run for 10-15 more years. Power, luxury, and reliability? Can't complain one bit.
No you can get one easilly under 10k from someone but from a dealer well yeah they are a bunch of asswipes that usually go 5-8k over what a vehicle is worth.
Having owned an 07 CTS, 08 335i, and now an 11 E550 with airmatic, i'd vote for the Genesis! I drove an ISF and liked the handling and power, but disliked the cushy feel and soft couch-like seats. my favorite interior and seats would be the CTS, but it was terribly unreliable. The E550 has a great interior, better entertainment system than the earlier BMW, and fairly solid 392HP V8, only issue is the electronics and airmatic problems that keep coming up. IIRC, the E55 AMG also has rear airmatic. Get a delete kit or Arnott bag and compressor replacements and you'll be good for a few more years.

A 2013 gs for under 10k seems pretty impossible. I'd say the 3gs is alot more reasonable and you can get one with lower miles in really good condition for under 10k
3rd gen TL can also be found for less then 8,000k and you can find some with as low as 90-120k miles on it. Also as reliable as the 4th gen. While I do like the 4th gen, the 3rd gen is timeless in looks
I back that 100%. My 08 Infiniti M45 Sport has been amazing. 110,000 trouble free miles and pretty damn quick. It also at the time In 2006 beat out Lexus Mercedes and the 5 series BMW according to Motor trend and car and driver!
I’d recommend the E320 or E350. A good deal more reliable than an E55. Plus only AMG enthusiasts will care. The W211 is a pretty reliable E class overall though.

I own a 2013 GS350 AWD. I have a truck also which is my daily drive - so my mileage is extremely low on the Lexus at 56K miles. My car is pristine!!! Inside and out - love it. Every time I drive it I enjoy it.
I’ve had mercedes and bmw... both are fantastic and the only reason any german car is often at the shop is because we as Americans can’t get it through our thick heads that they need preventative maintenance not reactive maintenance... take care of stuff before it breaks and cars are amazing.
Nice review! I got my wife a 2013 Gs350. Very nice and underrated vehicle. The other vehicles are also nice considering if you got it for a cheap price so you could have extra cash to play with. I always said if you purchased a cash vehicle, start putting money aside as if if was a car note, so when something goes wrong with it you would already have the cash to repair it.
FYI the BMW 528i only came naturally aspirated l6 in 2011. 2012 and up is the 2.0 turbo charged engine. I would recommend going with the n55 motor 2013 and above if I was going to suggest this model.
You forgot the sneaky yet powerful Taurus Unlimited, with its sleeper 3.5L V6 pushing out 300HP it looks better and rides better then the 300 and can give a 300c a run for its money. It comes with all wheel drive all the luxurious features that come in the 300 and the CTS and it was built to compete against BMW. In my opinion it’s one the best luxury sleeper sedans ever made and with the upgrade to the SHO model you looking at embarrassing all the cars on that list besides the Mercedes but with the SHO’s twin turbo 3.5L V6 and it’s all wheel drive best believe it’s going to make that Mercedes work for that W.

I got the equus and love it even more. thank to Hyundai, i have owned 5 and never went wrong. before you say 5, I crashed 3, 1 repossed, and current one is the equus. never had issues and all of mine are driven to hell and they still looked brand new.

Has the Mercedes transmission in it. Bad ass land yacht

Just check auto tempest for 2013-2015 GSs and anything under $10k has really really high mileage (180k and more) For $10k you can buy a used 2007-2010 LS460 with 100k-120k miles (base model of course)
You missed the 2004-2007 S60R. In my opinion it's underrated because not many people think of Volvo's as performance cars. But mine has had limited issues and is well north of 150k. You can get an auto for 5k or a manual for under 10k, with just about 100k on it.

e55 is super cheap to work on, if it breaks. It's bulletproof all around and as a previous owner of 3 of them, it's a great buy.
I bought the '13 Genesis 5.0 R Spec. Love that Lexicon stereo and the 429 HP! Needs an exhaust though...

The body style was changed in the Genesis for 15 the clip you're using is a 14 or older not a 15 or 16. I have the 15 5.0
