It's kind of impossible to downright hate a franchise like Kirby. Kirby is one of those franchise that rarely gets hated by people. I've encountered a lot of people who hates other iconic franchises like Mario, Zelda & of course Sonic, but I rarely see someone hate on the Kirby franchise. I guess Kirby is one of those franchises that kind of appeals to both audiences. People love the franchise because of the cuteness of the series or people love the series because of Kirby's badass copy abilities or how the series can get epic, climatic & dark near the end in almost every Kirby game. It also helps that Kirby is such a likable character, despite him only saying "Hii" & "Poyo." He has so much character personality throughout the series. Whether it be him acting cute & innocent or him being a total badass by wielding a giant sword or using his copy abilities in such awesome ways. Kirby is definitely one of Nintendo's most beloved franchises.

But he's not completely 2 dimensional like say Mario and Link. And unlike characters like Sonic and Captain Falcon where they express most of their thoughts through words instead of action, Kirby doesn't speak. He is child like. And unlike other younger characters, this isn't the main focus. He doesn't cry for everything and he isn't overly obnoxious. Overall, Kirby is a very neutral character that has cute qualities and can't really be hated to a large extent

tbh there are more than one moon orbiting Popstar, the biggest one is blue and can be seen on rtdl's title screen or even during the Sectonia boss fight (it seems pretty close to the planet...) the permanent crescent one (AKA the one who got blew up/"pissed" on it) can also be seen from time to time on stages (and is also a bit further away from the planet) not sure if Mr. Shine can be considered as a third moon tho
Kirby and I have a great history. My first game in the series was Amazing Mirror and I remember it fondly. For awhile, Kirby 64 (whom I loaned from my cousin) was my favorite, but now it's Return to Dream Land. Kirby's one of my favorite video game series and one of my favorite characters. Kirby’s Dreamland was the one of the first games I got with my Game Boy for Christmas ‘92. It took me so many years to actually beat it because I never knew you were suppose to inhale the stars that DeeDeeDee popped out. A great memory.

Just finished Kirby's Adventure, and man did I love it. As you said, music and art were incredible. It’s so creative and oddly beautiful. I love the simplicity but variety of the abilities. Awesome boss fights as well.
Lololo and Lalala were based off of a game called Adventures of Lolo, I think that's what it's called, anyway. It's a block pushing puzzle game, which is what these bosses are based on.

Kirby has had a massive impact on me too. Me and my brother got our first individual Game Boys at the Westport Plaza mall in St. Louis ages ago and the first two games we had were Super Mario Land and Kirby’s Dream Land. And then not much later, I saw the commercials for Kirby’s Adventure on TV. I never would have expected Kirby of all things to become the Nintendo juggernaut he is today.
Nightmare in Dream Land was my first Kirby game, and it made me absolutely love the little guy. I was so excited when the Dream Collection came out, because it meant I could get all the previous games that I never had the chance to own. Too bad I'm not very good at those earlier games...

I never knew about that moon room in Stage 4! I only found the one earlier in the stage when you're in the cloud "labyrinth". As someone who first played Kirby on Gameboy, this makes me excited to learn about!
Kirby gives me the same feeling I felt towards Sackboy from little big planet, harmless monstrously cute characters with very charming worlds and characters. While I haven't owned a nintendo console until 2019 I'd like to take my time with kirby just as much as I did with sackboy.

Pro tip for Kirby's Adventure: Swallow two stone enemies and wait for the roulette to stop and you'll always get UFO Kirby. Also, pressing start and select simultaneously (making sure the start screen appears between the ability star appearing and Kirby turning back to normal), and you'll be able to legitimately keep it between stages. Keep track of where you can swallow two stone enemies and you'll have damn near unlimited UFO that you can't even lose by taking damage.

Kirby's Nightmare in Dream Land is my favorite Kirby game. Mostly due to nostalgia.
Also the moon exploded after Nightmare's demise, every game afterwards has the crescent moon instead of the full moon.
Except literally every game after SSU has a full round moon.
They did better than dbz which the moon has been destroyed time and time again but keeps coming back

Here's a tip for fighting Kracko Jr in extra mode just stay to the left of the screen at all times when he drops the bombs inhale them, then jump up and spit them back out at him.
