I must be doing something wrong because no matter what I could never finish him off I've broken both horns and still managed to die everytime I try to solo him
Try frostcraft greatsword. Use the frostfang barioth greatsword and 4 piece velkhana. I was stuck on alatreon for ages but beat it second try with that build. Speed eating combined with recovery up helps a ton too.
