The remix of Mario Kart DS's Rainbow Road for World 9 was an excellent touch
Just like how the original World 9 theme in NSMBWii was a remix of N64 Rainbow Road!

World 9 Sounds like DS Rainbow Road
It's litteraly the remastered DS rainbow road theme.
You should do the castle theme. That is one of the best tracks in this game.
Agreed, but the closest thing right now is the Fortune Street version (that game was on the Wii)
Also would love to hear the volcano overworld and the castle boss theme in this soundfont (which is kind of a remix of the Super Mario Bros 3 boss theme)

I doubt you take requests, but there's a song in a game called, "SpongeBob Revenge of the Flying Dutchman," called "Outback" which I always thought would be great as a HGSS cave theme, specifically pulling inspiration from the Ice Cave theme. Would you be willing to take a crack at it? Try as I might, I can't seem to rip from the game for a MIDI.
The base song, Outback, sounds nicer at -5 semi tones, at a speed of 85%.
I would like to do this, but it appears that game has an undocumented sound system and rips of the music using already established gba tools are impossible as of now.

Edit: I realize the overworld snow theme has a harpsichord, but the muted trumpet!?!?!
Also apparently almost all of the music from NSMB.DS was going to return in this game but was all scrapped because the original composer koji kondo didin't came when back when nintendo was developing this game.
This makes me so mad 😡 😡 🤬 🤬

I have never heard about this being documented, though what I can say is that Koji Kondo only composed two songs for NSMB, the Overworld theme and the Overworld Battle theme.

@@isaacmendoza7812 Yeah. The rest of the music in NSMB was composed by Asuka Ohta and Hajime Wakai. To be fair, though, they were working under his direction.

@@isaacmendoza7812 IMO I enjoy NSMBWii’s music better (besides its remix of the overworld theme and a few other songs), but that’s besides the point.
I don’t think there was ever anything stopping Nintendo from reusing or remixing the music from the original NSMB, and, in fact, they have. Remixes of its music have appeared in games such as NSMBWii (of course), Fortune Street, SSBB, Mario & Sonic, etc. Music ripped straight from NSMB was also reused for the 25th Anniversary Soundtrack CD, virtually every reappearance of the Mega Mushroom, and the Warp Cannon stages in NSMB2.
