But the ingredients in the weight gain smoothie are fine for a balanced diet... I think the weight gain smoothie is in addition to whatever else you normally eat. Peanut butter, oats & banana are not just for weight gain they are an important source of calories and nutrients in a normal vegan/plant based diet 🌸 but as always... eat so you have a calorie deficit (not extreme) & exercise to keep healthy and you should see results 💕
you can actually use the "weight gain" smoothie to lose weight as well if it keeps you satiated for a longer period. I use pb banana and sometimes oats on days where I need more energy, it depends on your body's needs

I had the spinach-protein powder-banana-peanut butter smoothie you posted a few weeks ago for about 2 weeks straight for breakfast and it helped me go to the restroom EVERYDAY at least 2-5 times. Even with it being more protein based, the fact that it improved my digestion system made me lose at least 5 pounds. My goal is more to lose some weight so I'm glad you discussed this. This was very insightful. Please post more weight gain vs. weight loss videos.

I gained 13 pounds by doing the wrong smoothie. So upsetting. Now I have to fix that gain and continue on with the rest of my weight loss. I don't particularly appreciate taking steps backward. For those who want to gain weight Almond Milk, Almond butter and fruit will for sure make you gain as it did for me.

I am aiming for about 2000 calories for my former body weight but would need to recalculate after losing 20 kilograms now (I'm at about 97 KGS now). Whatever acts as an appetite suppressant will help but foods low on the glycemic index I've found help with weight loss. I would like to lose another 22 KGS if I can so I weigh about 75 KGS,my butt & thighs have gotten smaller & now my stomach is starting to flatten out a bit more from just eating a few pieces of fruit per day. I've been investigating meat replacements & some of the tofu products aren't cheap in my country, the Tofurky ham slices costs $8 AUD for about 3 slices. The Tofurky sausages sausages may be good if there's only 2 of us living together. The cheapest option so far is the canned black & red kidney beans etc,if kidney bean beef patties can be made,I think that I can make kidney bean rissoles,lasagne,etc. Maybe I can take a kidney bean salad to work to eat when I finally get a job !!!!
Kathy Ang those ingredients aren’t specifically weight gain ingredients, they are important as part of a balanced diet so please don’t start cutting out oats, bananas or nut butters, enjoy them as part of a balanced diet and I think the weight gain smoothie is supposed to be in addition to a normal diet so as to add extra calories

This is my recipe for a really creamy and delicious smoothie. 1 banana 1 cucumber 1 avocado 2 handfuls of spinach 2 tbs of oats 2 or 3 cups of coconut water (or almond milk) 1 tbs of nut butter And your done ✅ 😁
I always taste the celery in my smoothies but I like the taste. Try using celery but adding ginger. Or add more cucumber or parsley instead of celery. But parsley has its own distinct taste as well.
Missleigh I don’t mind parsley actually so maybe I could try it, but like you, no matter how people (or myself) try to disguise celery I always know if it’s been used, it’s got a distinctively awful taste *shudder* a friend made both smoothies and juices with it in it and I just knew! It’s celery and mushroom that I can always taste no matter what.
Gina Coyle Nornes I love that “demon veg” 😂. I feel that way about mushrooms and sprouts and strangely enough I am sensitive to those two. So, I have a good excuse for hating them. Celery is tolerable but if I use even half a stalk, the entire smoothie tastes like mostly celery.
