First of all, what is your passion? What are your capabilities and abilities? What do you see when you think of your future? If you can look into yourself and be honest with yourself, I'm sure you will make the right decision. Also ,gather as much info as you can so that you are armed with knowledge in making a decision.

Good morning Dr shade, I have a BSC degree in biochemistry, but I want to go for a masters in biomedical science overseas when I come back to Nigeria, would I be recognized as a medical laboratory scientist then? And would I be licensed to practice here in Nigeria. Thank you.
Hello Damilola, thanks for the comment. I think the best source of answers to your question will be to contact the regulatory body of Biomedical Scientists.
Hello 👋 please I need some help here, Am med lab technician, studies in Ghana but born and breath in Nigeria, planning to come back home and work, what requirement will be required please
Hello, you will need to be registered with the Medical Laboratory Technology of Nigeria for Technician cadre with a practising licence and posses some skills like phlebotomy etc.
Hello, the salary largely depends on what level and sector. Fresh graduates will definitely earn lower than people already working for a while. The public sector may pay more than the private and this also depends on if its a small or huge, industrial private sector.
