I began watching your channel several months ago. In August, I saw my doctor, was overweight and had an A1c of 10.8. She prescribed a new diabetes medication that was going to cost $500/month. I immediately went on a ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting. I saw her for a 3-month check today. I'm 14 lbs lighter and my A1c came in at 6.5. I'm over the moon. she predicts I'll be at 5.2 in another 3 months and can start coming off medications. I'm 77 years old.

I am really struggling. I feel hungry and have cravings when I smell food. How to "feel full" without the bulk that carbs used to provide (rice, noodles). I know they turn into glucose, but without "bulk" the stomach feels empty. I don't take them, but it's why fruit juices are deadly - lots of calories, sugar, but you don't feel full at all.

I think LMNT might hide the maltodextrin in the natural flavors because if you look at the raw unflavored one it has 0 carbs. I think a lot of companies do this and that's why some people are against the natural flavors altogether. This video came out at the right time! I was looking at changing my electrolytes and this helped a ton. Thank you!

I used euLyte for several months when I first started carnivore, back in January 2024. I struggled to figure out why I was having strong sugar cravings when I was ingesting no carbs! EuLyte is a flavored product that’s sweetened with stevia. That was what was causing me to white-knuckle through cravings. I stopped using it and began more heavily salting meals (only meat). Still to taste, not going beyond good flavor. The cravings STOPPED and I continue to feel great.
I would have continued using euLyte if you offered an unflavored/unsweetened version. For those of us for whom a sweet taste causes cravings, euLyte is not an option.

As a chemist who used to work in pharmaceutical formulation, I find it much cheaper to buy food grade magnesium citrate powder, calcium citrate pills (rarely use because I eat a lot of dairy), and NoSalt (tm). They last for years, and if I start getting cramps (I have hard water so I usually do not have the trouble), then I start taking the electrolytes... including actual salt.

Note, however, Ultima, one my chosen electrolytes for the ingredients , price and taste is $0.50 per serving not $1.05. For an even better price and a good ratio of ingredients there is Junp at $0.33 per serving. Thank you, Dr Ekberg for this fabulous analysis! I purchased the sugar free version of liquid IV. Allulose is the first ingredient & it tastes very sugary. It reminds me of Gatorade from the 1970’s. Also, the ingredient list says, “natural flavors.” That could be anything, even maltodextrin (?) I’ve been very suspect of it and very rarely drink it. Thank you for providing this so that I can purchase yours that has very thoughtful and quality ingredients in it.

I just bought your Eulyte lemon and lime and also tested Berg., they are good, but very expensive for Canadians! Because we probably have to pay 2 taxes, the Canadian one of course, but probably the US one. Because your price surely includes a tax included in the sale price of $60 if it exists. But your price also includes shipping to the US. So when I order it for Canada, the US price of $60 is of course in Canadian dollars, but we have to add the big shipping costs of $30 more. So I pay twice for shipping for 200 km more. The price should be without the US shipping included in the price and then charge the shipping costs for Canada, so pay for my shipping once! Or go through Amaz camada which would be more advantageous for customers and you too I think! I paid Total = $137 Can or $1.53 Can per portion!

I was giving a megadose of magnesium via my IV to deal with severe migraine pain less than 2 weeks ago at the ER. I have not heard of the Liquid IV brand until watching this video and wonder if they have named it that to try to trick people into thinking it's a medication. Many people might fall for something like that. I was in the ER because one cannot tell if having a stroke or just having a migraine without having a CT scan. When I got home I checked my bottle of magnesium citrate and it was merely 100gm (24%) per pill. You have informed your viewers before that Mg is a good pain killer. I couldn't remember your name at the time Dr Ekberg, but the ER doctor agreed quite strongly and said they use it for it quite often.
