Went to Costco yesterday and walked by a couple ladies who were asking what the difference was between the different EVOOs. Overheard them in passing, and told them which one to get and referred them to FlavCity. Spreading the love!

I would totally buy that Italian olive oil, but I only buy oil in glass containers. Plastic leeches chemicals and a weird taste. That being said, I LOVE the California olive oil at Costco. Last time it was on sale for $6.99, I bought a whole case of it (12 bottles). It’s in glass too. We go through olive oil like mad in our house.

TL, glass or plastic doesn't matter if you're trying to store Olive oil. It's not a long-term storage food. Are you sure it's still good when you're getting around to using your 12th bottle? I'd be very surprised. Nobody uses that much olive oil in a household.

One year I was using coconut oil for cooking, and My Husband and Mine glaucoma numbers went up in the eyes. Then I used to eat olive oil religiously, but I got fatty liver with that. Finally I am back to butter. I just stirfry my vegetables add a little bit better and enjoy my food.

Grandma lived 90 years and used lard & Crisco. She nor gramps had dementia. They were just old when they died. My nephew was a health freak & watched every morsel he ate. Died at 50-something of brain cancer. Just do your personal best. ❤

Is the Kirkland EVOO from California okay to use for cooking?? On the bottle it says, excellent for salads, drizzling and dipping.
    Please advise, thank you kindly.

Thank you for the information. I just purchased the organic virgin coconut oil bc of your information I feel more confident in my purchase. I have high cholesterol and I purchased ghee hesitant to use it bc of the high content of cholesterol. What should I do????

Ghee is okay. The good fats remain and the bad stuff gets removed in the making of it.

The reason there’s a star on the Chosen Foods Avocado Oil is because they recently switched over to selling in a 2 liter bottle for $19.99

I’m asking this question on a couple of Bobby’s oil vids; I never see it addressed - what is the consensus on Sesame oil? My wife is Korean and Sesame oil is used in so much of her traditional cooking. I LOVE the flavor but I wonder about it’s healthy properties.

Chosen Foods avocado oil went from glass bottles to plastic. That's all Bobby! Chicago area did that months ago. I prefer glass to plastic... Do you think that effects the quality of the oil?

I save useful-size glass bottles and jars for decanting from large plastic containers. If you buy form a store with fast turnover like Costco, it doesn't sit in the jug for long.
