How awesome is it to have a current all star big league pitcher who actually knows what he's doing and is able to explain it do it for free. You're a legend man, I can't believe you're actually doing this.

I grew up in Houston and have been a Houston MLB fan since the Roger Metzger years. l'm a faithful fan of the Collegiate baseball sport as well, and I was a big time fan of yours while you were in the collegiate ranks. The MLB fallout from the Astros cheating scandal is a horrible ball to swallow. Following the scandal, I decided I would never watch another Houston MLB game until the ENTIRE 2017 team roster rolled over meaning there isn't a single player left on the team from the 2017 roster. Thank you so much for speaking your mind in attempt to keep the game clean!!!! EVERYONE on the planet who is a baseball fan should subscribe to your youtube channel. You are a testament to keeping the game clean and reaching out to young players is a testament to your love of the game! I'm sporting a Reds cap now! I'm hoping you bring home the Cy Young award sometime during your career. Rock on Trevor! O.K. , maybe I'll catch the stros again as soon as their 2017 Starting Roster turns over......but I will forsure being sporting a Trevor Bauer hat till I leave the MLB planet.

Trevor. Absolutely love this. One small note: I would love it there was more video evidence of what you're talking about. Any visual example is super beneficial. I know that's a lot of work editing wise but even if you could provide an example of a pitcher who does what you're talking about so we can look it up for ourselves. The more I can physically see what you're talking about, the easier it is for me to observe.

I absolutely love your idea of “observing”. When I work with kids (high school), I always ask them to repeat what we talked about previously or even what their coach (HS or travel team) wants them to focus on off season. It’s amazing that they remember very little. I mention to write things down but I’m not with them a lot so it’s hard. From this point forward I’ll be telling them that if they don’t write things down then they are not serious about improving. Love your videos, great information and ideas. You’ve gone to #1 on my list of favorite current pitchers, you’re on my team-go Reds (big fan since Big Red Machine day).

Trevor, hopefully I’m not the only one, but I could watch these videos for hours. I love all that you do for young pitchers like myself, you’ve inspired me to become a better pitcher and work harder. Keep putting out these kinds of videos because I enjoy all of them

Great stuff, I'm in education and look at explanation videos with a slightly different eye, the examples you used; some viewers understand what you are demonstrating but others don't. It is also left open to be misunderstood, was that video an example of the correct or incorrect motion? Overlaying an arrow helping focus attention on your point or a split screen of two different versions (good v bad) would help a ton. If picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be a million, but if I'm not sure what I'm looking at or focusing on, then the impact of the point is lost. I hope that makes sense - my son and I are now on our second listening of Bauer Bytes Season 1 and loving *ALL* your content. Do you have any tips for the spouse who is complaining about the off season THUMP THUMP THUMP of plyo balls in our home?

Great stuff, as usual Trevor. I also have a question on opening the hips early. Does this mean before the front foot comes down, at foot strike, or immediately after foot strike? Or does it depend on the pitcher (loose mover vs. tight mover, etc.)? Thanks.

Trevor, you explained about 10 minutes into your video that elite throwers start opening their hips earlier rather than later. I was wondering if you could expound on that more in a future video and how they separate themselves.

Trevor... I'm 48 years old.. still pitching for fun mostly. But, with my age what can I do to help get my velocity up to at least 80? I'm in the low 70's to 62. Hope to hear back. Love this stuff. Wish I had this pitching in high school. Good luck on your playoff run in Cincinnati!

I think that this video was great and you touched on a lot of different topics and did a good job of explaining things very well. I am a college pitcher and I am having trouble with “triple extension” on my back leg. Do you have any tips or mental queues that help with that?

The water leaking analogy is genius. I’ve been landing on my toe for so long and my front heel wouldn’t even touch the ground and trying to figure out why , and I feel like it’s from over extending or kind of jumping off my back leg. So now I am going to try and fix that

Also huge question on the back leg drive. What time in the delivery should it be twisting down to open up the hip? I feel like “staying closed” taught me bad habits that stopped me from fully opening my hip. So as Im reteaching myself to open my hips, when should be leg be driving down to maximize that leg power? Should it be as late as possible, or early?

This might be crazy but what about a challenge where you use a random number generator to generate a specific movement/spin profile, and then try to replicate it? Could be a cool exercise in stretching the limits of ball control. That said, *I DO NOT WANT YOU TO INJURE YOURSELF* because you're one of my favorite pitchers

please explain why you sued Top Velocity. the only pitching program that actually teaches proper 100% injury preventative 90+ mph mechanics. Because they said negative things about you doing driveline? Well, I mean yeah, weighted balls are bad for you the way you use them. Just wait.
