I barely watched this vid today even though it was posted over 2 months ago. This is the best advice I've received from anyone when warming up

With the NCAA canceling the spring season, my baseball career is now over. This bothers me that I was never taught to do things like this during the past 15 years I played. Really wish I played catch with a purpose to be better. Very helpful video, especially to anyone still playing!

It may not be over. There is some hope as I believe I was reading that they were going to give another year of eligibility to this years players due to the situation. Hopefully this comes fruition as I too would be heart broken if I would have lost my senior year to something like this pandemic. College years are by far the most fun (and most competitive as I see other pro players say).

Using the orienting response to distract from interoception during catch play is a great idea! Thanks.

The moving target game sounds like a great idea! Keeps your mind active throughout the process instead of just "going through the motions".

I have two drills I invented for my boys, one for training eyes and peripheral vision, the other for muscle memory, dexterity, speed, focus. I like the drills and reasoning behind each one you shared! Thank you Trevor 👍🏻

youre my idol! i sadly will need tommy john eventually once this whole virus stuff has calmed down and was wondering if you could post your full game warm up? from the moment you step into the stadium to when you throw your first pitch... i want my arm to be as healthy as possible when i come back next year.

I still remember watching you pitch while you were at UCLA and I saw you do your crow hop like throw to the catcher at the beginning of every inning and I was like what in the dear lord baby jesus is that haha. When I first saw that I was like OMG my arm would fall off if I did that, but if thats what you were used to then its just something you did to warm up.
The second crazy thing I saw you do (gotta remember i'm from the mid 96-99 at CSUN so things were still blatantly old school) was use that long bendy metal rod thing and squirming it back in forth in the middle of the inning, not gonna lie it made me laugh so hard lol. I would be like, "my coaches would have had a dam fit if I had done that craziness in between innings lol". In my mind with all your quirkiness and marching to the beat of your own drum, we left handers adopt you!
And I love all your content, keep up the good stuff my man.

Hey Trev, it would be super cool if you made a video walking us through your entire warmup progression before throwing. I have started doing j bands, plyo balls, and wrist weights before throwing and my arm feels amazing. It would be awesome if I could learn from you and add to my routine. Thanks!

Pretty incredible to hear this type of speak when less than 10 years ago HS coaches wouldn't allow the Jaeger method. Bands were new age bullshit, longtoss was a fraud. Love to hear Trevor speak on this. Everyone failed everyone before. Such a shame. This impacted careers before and I hope Trevor can do the same in the opposite direction.

The quality of these videos are absolutely ridiculous. It's insane how much valuable information he gives out in less than ten minutes. Stop paying for pitching lessons and expensive travel teams and use the money you save to invest in some basic equipment, pocket radar, and a gym membership then apply the principles from these videos into your training and the results will be staggering.
