When I went to Austin I wanted to move there because they still had a sense of identity. Values that I valued. Texas has been my home since we moved here from the south of France when I was 7 and there's nowhere else in the world people here treat others with dignity and respect they welcome you with open arms and we live like there's not a care in the world and at times its almost seems like there's nothing else in the world only the present, the here and the now, people will invite you to their homes after just meeting you for only an hour to a backyard BBQ out in the sticks where there are several acres of land in a beautiful home where entire families from 3 generations will show up with all their friends to cook a feast that can feed a family for a year, the first time I had home made smoked brisket it changed my life, there's so much beer and whisky that gets consumed at these gatherings its absolutely crazy and it happens almost every weekend, Texans love to eat and feed the people around them with lip-smacking homemade BBQ, we also love our guns, our whiskey and our flag.
The state doesn't meddle in your affairs and they give you every opportunity to earn what you rightfully deserve, low tax rates and everything is cheap, the people here self govern themselves and believe me they are not afraid to tell you like it is or protect themselves and their people if the need arises, we are extremely self-sufficient and self-governing, I never met a more prideful strong bunch of people who come from all walks of life ...
Being Texan isn't just a birthright, its a state of mind, a state of being, to be strong, dependable, honorable, to have integrity and to take pride in yourself and the place you call home, to welcome your neighbors, we like to have fun but we also work our asses off to contribute to making this place what it is today ... I'm a proud Texan, not by birth but by upbringing and every day I get to watch the sunset over the beautiful landscape where nothing blocks your view with a cold beer in my hands with all my family and friends i thank God and my family for raising me in such a place.
God Bless Texas and the people that make it what it is today.

And if you say you volunteer that’s why you’re good, then you’d imply that the people you still call racist for being born where slaves used to kept do not share that blame as they do not have any direct involvement in slavery. ғɪʀᴇ77 considering Britain established and continued the slave trade to the americas, I’m gonna say that’s not even factual. To say Caucasians are the only ones who had slaves is incorrect, to say Caucasians were never involved in slavery is also incorrect. I’m not here to promote some critical race theory whether on the far left or the far right. Every race, nation, and tribe has done something or another to deserve criticism and shame. The idea isn’t to live in the past or put blame on another race, it’s to do what America was founded on in principle. Which is we are all equal, and we all need to strive forward as individuals to better our lives, our families, and our communities.
