For the record, I’m from Idaho. My non-indigenous family has been there since BEFORE Ft. Boise in what became Idaho Territory. Californians started their exodus to Idaho in 1979….WE HATE THEM. Viscerally.
They destroyed my home town. They destroyed our beloved State’s culture. They have out taxed us to the point that no native Idahoans can afford to live in our beloved home. Californians are despised for good reason. FIX YOUR OWN STATE, STOP IMPORTING YOUR HELL ELSEWHERE.

We left California for the mid west a couple of years ago. Recently, some family from California visited us for the first time since our relocation. The topic came up, so I played them the Babylon B video. It was received with the most stone faced reaction possible. Their butt-hurt, ‘this isn’t funny’ reaction was just about as hilarious as the video itself.

A few years ago, we had some neighbors that had moved from California to Colorado and then to Texas. Their daughter was friends with our youngest daughter and was frequently over at our house. I came home from work one evening to find a note on the front door from the neighbor that read: "Chyna will no longer be allowed on your property as long as they are guns in your house. It is completely irresponsible of you to have guns. PERIOD." So, being a good neighbor, I called the mom (who wrote the note) and asked how she knew we owned guns. She huffed and said "Your daughter told our daughter." I said "Did she also say that they were locked up in guns safes and only my wife and me had the combination?" She hung up on me so I waited until the weekend to talk to her husband Jerry. He invited me into their house and we sat down in his Man Cave (yeah...) and the first thing I noticed was a bong on the shelf and remnants of marijuana on the coffee table. He invited me to partake but I declined. I told him what had happened and he said he agreed with his wife; that his daughter would not be allowed to go to our house as long as there were weapons in the house. I thanked him and left. To reiterate- the people who forbade their daughter from entering a home with weapons in a locked safe left drugs laying around visible to the casual observer and we're bad parents? Um... Anyway, Chyna still came over.

@@timkellyD2R Actually we have something very similar to Californians leaving their state by the droves happening here in Australia. A lot of people from the southern states of Victoria and New South Wales have moved to Queensland. The Victorians, especially, want to get away from the woke government in their state...this has resulted in a housing crisis in Queensland with demand higher than supply. This is why most Aussies can relate to some of this Babylon Bee series.

Somehow Mad didn't have near the ratings, so tried to copy SNL and totally went under. You can't beat a grifter at their own game. They should have held the line and would have gained eventually.

Moved to Texas a few years ago. Took a quick road trip to drop off a car at a relatives home in LA just last weekend and I was surprised to find quite a few folk in their cars by themselves wearing masks. These series of videos hit the nail on the head for me, and I mean everything resonated, even the bug thing. When I told a relative we were moving out of state again to Texas, her response was "aren't you afraid of the racists?". That was the type of ignorance and BS I had to deal with when I left the for the last time. Texas has such an awesome culture that when we go to visit CA and hold doors open for folks people are taken back by the manners my kids have which is sad. God Bless Texas!
