      Thankfully the US is composed by self governing bodies (States). California is going to shit, all the entrepreneurs are leaving and we won’t have people to take money from to give it to the people mooching of the government programs. It will lead to a collapse, but other states will see that socialism doesn’t work. I drive by downtown LA every single day and I see homeless everywhere. Where is the state tax money they take from our checks going?

    Good for Ben! I just moved back to California 3 months ago after 20 years in Florida for a "great" job opportunity. I feel like I'm waking up in the apocalypse every day. A 6 figure income here provides a lower quality of life than working at a gas station in Florida. I have to wait to escape due to wife's health issues for another month or so. I'm not sure I'd be able to bring myself back ever again even for a weekend to attend a family members funeral. I sold my home in Florida that was paid off and gave away all my cars, boat, rv, and possessions to get here. I'll be going back with my truck and little else. I've been relieved of my cash at an alarming rate. I'd strongly warn anyone to never make the mistake I have by missing family and your home town. It no longer exists. Save yourselves and run for your nearest border. I will kiss the ground as soon as I see the welcome to Arizona sign soon. I should have heeded the advice of literally everyone and stayed put. I sincerely hope California falls in the ocean before they keep spreading their cancerous lifestyles and ideology to the decent Americans across this great country. I pity those who don't know the difference between communism and capitalism. God bless America and I pray the remaining Americans find the power within themselves to fight against the invasion.

    • @jh748
      @jh748 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes people deserve what happens to them; Karma. You are clearly a gullible, uneducated person and think the authoritarianism and dictatorship-like state government is not a cancerous lifestyle or ideology. Your right communism and capitalism are very different but Desantis is much closer to Putin than anything we have ever had in this country. I moved from CA to FL 10 years ago and it was the biggest mistake of my life and in the process of moving back. You refer to the word "invasion" without a cent of what it really means; talk to any Ukraine about fighting against a real invasion. People like you do in fact deserve what you get and people like you do not deserve to live in a younger, innovative, forward thinking society but rather in the middle of the AZ desert.

    • @BLOODFART309
      @BLOODFART309 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @QuitTheBlueCircus oh I escaped lololol. I took a huge hit selling my convertible bentley I liked so much, just so I could leave without delay. Started a new construction company since I've been back in florida. Things changed fast here while I was in San diego. People from CA and NY swarmed it here, and the price of rent and everything tripled. It's just as bad as California now, except for the the high taxes, costs of utilities are still low here, no people sleeping outside, freedom supporting politics, and a business friendly environment here. The new people here drive very badly, and make each day challenging because of it. I was having panic attacks, stress issues, and vertigo in san diego for months. All symptoms cleared up when I got back florida. I used to love the stress in Cali when I was a kid. Incapacitates me now. The scams and price gouging in California were insane. Trying san diego again was by far the most stressful and costly mistake I have ever made in my life. I deeply regret it, and will until I pay off another home hopefully one day and get partially back to where I was. It's hard every day living with the consequences of the failed adventure. California is just too restrictive on business, way too much taxes, the homeless issues were very depressing because I see them as humans, the people were scared and or sad, and the cost of living was super high for a very low quality of life. I did like the access to so many different restaurants. Weed dispensaries everywhere for recreational use was fun. Amenities required a fight through traffic and crowds that made them undesirable whatsoever. Medical care in the best hospital in so cal was infuriating to witness, as well as the system in general for regular care for my wife. All bad except the food and weed. Water is polluted and the beaches are sad to look at. So much sadness in the air. When I was a teen there it was a different world full of sunshine and opportunity. It's gone.

      I have to say your story was actually a little bit funny to me I hate to say it, but sort of like a Keystone cops adventure. You're writing that you sold everything you own in the world to come back to a state only to find out three months later you didn't like it? Why didn't you visit first, spend a month in a hotel to see for yourself so you wouldn't have sold everything in Florida. Big mistake. Also Florida is no walk in the park. I lived there for 20 years and also in California for 20 years and Florida used to be way way way less expensive than California but now it's about equal, when you add in the homeowners insurance and the homeowner association fees if you live in a condo along with the assessments… Many people even living inland are paying $12,000 a year just for homeowners insurance. Florida is hot it's flat humid, it would not be a place I would go back to but I do agree with you about fleeing California. I will say though that in my case I did about six months worth of homework before I decided to move back to California and I chose Dana point. Now Dana point is special as there are no homeless and Orange County police are very aggressive to say the least which is a good thing. There is no graffiti. I've been rubbernecking trying to find one single homeless person just so I can say to people that I saw one and there's not a single one. It's as close to what people imagine California used to be as I can think of. No empty storefronts beautiful harbor. A lot of money there no doubt but I say if you can avoid the cities, San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles as there are all types of pockets along the coast that are beautiful and have none of these issues that people are complaining about on these I hate California blog sites. Have you ever meant to Monterey or Carmel by the Sea. It's a magical place still Big Sur and all of the communities from Dana point south like San Clemente, Oceanside and the tiny little beach towns along the ocean well before you even come close to San Diego. In other words there is plenty of sweet spots so left why anyone would choose to live in San Diego or San Francisco or Los Angeles is beyond me that is if they have money and they've done their homework. California still has everything it had 60 years ago weather, geography, but you have to choose wisely and I will say you have to have seven figures in the bank. Fortunately being in that position I'm able to make choices that most people cannot make, but I certainly would not return to Florida. North Carolina has forests oceans, trees, lakes without alligators, lower humidity, no real winters, oceans, in other words there are better choices than Florida by a country mile. Many people are fleeing Florida right now as I post as there is more real estate for sale on a percentage basis in the state of Florida than any other state in the country. People want out of there

While I was in the military, I met somebody and got trapped here. Since then I have graduated from college. Graduated from grad school, and founded a successful medical practice. Last time I checked, I don't have leprosy. My situation is not unique. There are many fine conservatives in this state. The whole "patient zero" liberal infection thing is ill informed, and frankly ignorant. Look at a county by county map of California and you will see a lot of it is red. The left owns the big cities, just like they pretty much do everywhere else. We have a lot of big cities. Stop praying for us to fall into the sea. A lot of good conservatives live here. Nuff said.

    I got out of the US Navy in the Bay Area in '82 and stayed there, I was originally from NY. Last year 9/21 I finally left, kids all grown up and will soon be leaving. Now in Southern Utah which is like living in Mayberry. No one tailgates here, road rages, no one flips you off, no one drives in the left lane unless they are actually passing, people not only return shopping carts to the corral but they stack them neatly into the other one. Main Street is lined with American Flags every 20 feet on both sides over 4th of July and Veterans Day, Main Street is decked out in Christmas decorations on a Biblical scale, there's no homeless camps, virtually no homeless people. Everyone smiles and says hello to you on the street. Schools educate, not indoctrinate, young kids both boys and girls ride their bikes everywhere without Mom and Dad protecting them. You see people wearing Patriotic clothing, flags in front of houses and on cars and trucks. People walk into banks with six shooters on their hips, no one bats and eye. It goes on and on, everything America was, everything that The Peoples Republic of Ca rejects, hates and has banned is here with a serene way of life like the 1950's

    We left in 05 for the last time, I watched the state I was raised in turn into a very unhealthy place to live and yes that includes the Crime and Homeless situation, and all level of government have no evidence of resolving this situation, not to mention higher taxes, gas, homes etc., it's Ed system is now broken and we see no hope of this being fixed as those who live in areas that aren't effected fund the Bad Socialist Dems no in power and even the last Republican Schwatznager who I knew would be bad but was much Worse than even I thought possible. I only hope that AZ doesn't turn into something just as bad but Hotter as it's already on its way with PAC funded Republican Career Politicians, so if you plan to travel there I suggest you stay in a Hotel with Security and a safe area if you can still find one and we left before Theft was a State sponsored activity. God Bless You All; Clair Van Steenwyk

      WHY should REAL AMERICANS hand over California to a bunch of !llegals, junkies and CROOKED POLITICIANS? THAT'S WHY PEOPLE WHO LOVE CALIFORNIA need to STAY, stand up and TAKE IT BACK. Run for LOCAL OFFICE, IT CAN START THERE, be it City councils, Mayor, etc. Just DO IT! We need to find someone with the work ethic, backbone, conviction & vision that Trump has, get behind them and PUT THEM INTO Sacramento as GOVERNOR to pull this STATE out of the gutter! Everyone THOUGHT SCHWARZENEGGER was going to do just that, but the La Raza cartel surrounded him & GOT TO HIM. (Tony Villaraigosa, Fabian Nunes) Those two especially, never let SCHWARZENEGGER out of their sites, and influenced him at every turn. He got his wake up call when black SUV's with blacked out windows ran Arnold & his young son off the road when they were on his motorcycle, because he was openly talking about ending & cracking down on illegal immigration. Immediately after that "near death" experience that was orchestrated just for him as a warning, Schwarzenegger shut up about illegal immigration and started ADVOCATING FOR IT.

      I know it’s scary, I felt the same way. I moved to Texas 4 years ago after spending 46 years in California. I had been wanting to leave for probably 20 years but I kept telling myself that there just wasn’t anywhere as nice as California. I can’t believe I waited so long, I am so much happier in Texas. It is so much more beautiful in Texas, so much more green, amazing fresh air, amazing open spaces, amazing people. I sold my four bedroom house in San Diego and for the same exact amount I bought 80 acres with two houses (1 5br brand new, 1 3br older for my parents) our own private 3 acre fishing lake right outside my back porch plus a half acre spring fed pond up front in the pasture. We are barely an hour outside Dallas, we live in a rural area but we are only 25 minutes from a medium size city. My only regret is that I didn’t move 20 years ago. When we started really considering we looked for places online, We were specifically looking for a place with a fishing pond for my father. We’ve flew to Georgia to look at a place and then we flew to this place in Texas where we live now. Flying there and getting a real idea for the area made all the difference, it made me realize that I could do this and I wasn’t gonna be missing out on anything by leaving California.

      I haven’t traveled a lot to cities in the usa but Atlanta is a great place to live with similar views. It has the best bang for your buck and things to do similar like LA. Only thing is that it has a strong black culture and same with the whites. There are other backgrounds but it’s a small number, very small.

      Did the same thing about 2 years ago. Now live in a low crime, rural community. No long commutes, get to breath fresh air, and have clean water. Best of all my cost of living has dropped by at least 50 percent.
      Oh , did I mention that I am in an open carry state.

    • @heydude2533

      @@churchofpos2279, Same here, cost of living is a lot less. My property taxes in CA were $4600 a year, I just paid my property taxes for my house in Missouri $428.00. I had to call and see if the price was correct. Food is half of what it cost in CA, Gas is more than half the price. I have found that insurance is a bit more here than in CA which I found odd. I find it odd that water prices here are almost as much as CA. Electricity prices are more as well. But overall I live on half of what I made in CA and live better here. I'm also in a open, concealed/ carry State. No permits required. Real Freedom here. Love being around like minded people and I have not heard Spanish once since I got here. :)
