As an Upstate NY'er now living in SWFL, I can attest to this. NYC has ruined NY. Upstate is mostly Conservative, but we can't beat the numbers of NYC and Downstate Votes.
There one little detail, it seems some of them want to terraform where ever they go into the failed state of California, I think that is selfish.

I think if someone moves to Florida from California the only war they'll be having is with mosquitoes and other insects. You'll see them hiding inside with lots of bug spray, planning on how to kill the insects, looking up strategy and tactics for insect control and hand to hand combat with insects.
Moved from SoCal to south Florida last year. best decision I ever made. I will not be voting for the same policies that ruined Cali.

As guy who was born in Florida and raised in Cali then moved back to Florida in my early 20s and have been here almost 30 years now I've been seeing a lot of California plates recently here in Destin and that truly scares me, no joke!!! California politics will decimate Florida and that's worth fighting in all ways available.

I have a friend who's been living out of the country for a while and he is from cali. Came over here to New Mexico, he pulled up into a persons driveway so he could turn around his car. He was met by a woman who stepped out of the house with a rifle. He told me how crazy it was and so serreal man and all I did was laugh.
