MG-AR1 Furore: an Alfa 4C-shaped hillclimb monster w/ Zytek V8 Engine testing at Imola Circuit!

- During the 2018 Motor Legend Festival me and my friends Davide458Italia and Italiansupercarvideo recorded Marco Gramenzi' crazy hillclimb car. It's called MG-AR1 Furore and basically it's a built on purpose race car, powered by a Zytek/Gibson V8 engine and the appearance of an Alfa Romeo 4C.
The car is still under a test phase and it was at Imola Circuit doing some easy and calm laps in order to test a few components and solve a few problems. But you can still enjoy the marvellous engine sound!

Hi Bozzy. Almost 2 days late on the comment instead of my typical 1 day.😳 At first glance, I thought this may have been the latest iteration of the Alfa 4C (with the huge wing & 13" wheels) you've shown us previously. But, nope... after seeing the detailed garage scenes, it's obvious this is totally different and unique! Wow! This machine is awesome! That V8 has a very special sound coming out of it. Hopefully you'll have the opportunity to capture it going full-tilt in its natural element, the hillclimb. Thanks for sharing this special car with us, mate. See you soon.🙋
Ciao Mick! Exactly, last year I tought this was and evolution of the one you mentioned at the beginning but I discovered a few days ago the old Alfa Romeo 4C "Vision GT" (I love to call the 13''-wheeled ones in that way hahah) is still around. It was on the entry list of the 2018 Verzegnis hillclimb that took place yesterday here in Italy so I'm quite confident I'll may see it again in the future ;)
Anyway, I love this 4C V8 project too and when everything will be checked will surely be a competitive monster!

The monocoque is still the one of the original 4C, but it has been slightly improved and modified too

Interesting how it sounds like a high-strung inline-4 rather than a V8; certainly has something to do with the firing order and/or the way the exhaust header is routed.
How much Horsepower does it have. Just asking to see if it would fit in GT3 or GT2 because it looks like one of the two

If it's an old LMP engine I think they were 4L - f3000 was 3L, obviously.

De alfa non e rimasto più nulla ... diciamo le forme un po di telaio x resto di alfa non ce nulla ....motore cambio freni .... l auto e stupenda ma la 155 che usava prima quella del dtm secondo me come gare in salita andava ancora di piu ...complimenti x la 4c hanno creato un mostro ...

E' semplicemente un prototipo costruito per avere le fattezze di una 4C, ma di 4C ha solo la scocca in fibra. Per il resto è un telaio costruito da 0, con propulsore Zytek, che dal 2017 ha cambiato il nome in Gibson.

Don't know much but the engine is a 3.0 Zytek V8 with around 450hp (but they want to reach the 500 mark) and the weight is around 720 kg

Il motore è uno Zytek 3.0 V8, il cambio dovrebbe essere un Sadev + Teknogear
