When I got to eat at goldee's last year, some of the people in line next to me were from Colorado. We got to talking while we waited, then when we got our food we shared a table and ate together. The experience is totally worth it highly recommend
All I see is the picture of how America should be(this is America being great). The power of unity. For that, I will fly there and camp outside just to see America great again. Love you guys.
It’s literally my favorite way to eat turkey. There is a spot in longview tx called Carter’s - best turkey. Bodacious (and now Sunfire) are the brisket spots, but they legit have the BEST turkey.
Definitely you can taste the difference with mustard as a bond, I tried it and not so good for me unless you want your brisket to taste like pastrami. This bbq looks so good. Key to a juicy turkey is a whole lot of butter. My wife cooks our turkeys on thanksgiving with a lot of butter and bathes it every little while while in the oven with the same butter and sheesh juicy turkey is served.
After watching this video, I went and picked up two racks of St Luis ribs and a pack of chicken thighs, going to fire up the big smoker after work! I know it's a weeknight, but at this point, I don't care, I need some smoked meat!
Only ONE other BBQ joint is competing with them, and thats North Texas Smoke BBQ. If you’re in Texas and a big foodie like myself, I highly recommend looking them and stopping by. You won’t regret it.
As a business standpoint A great taco stand will make more for the owner even the time to make carnitas , tacos de cabeza take way half the tine to make ,Barbacoa etc.
true, but most pitmasters (myself included) who take the plunge and start a biz do it for the passion and craft. We know bbq; especially brisket, has some of the tightest margins in the food world
Ribbee’s is the new spin off restaurant from Goldee’s. It just sells ribs and sides. The other Goldee’s owner Jirby seems to have taken the lead on on the new restaurant, but not sure.
Nobody talks about what brilliant marketers they are. “I’ll tell you everything. It’s no big deal.” Anybody can do it (but probably not unless you buy our seasoning or have our equipment [which we sell]).
As a previous Qstoves user, I can honestly say that switching to Asmoke was a game changer for me. The precision temperature control of Asmoke's pellet grill is a standout feature that has significantly improved my BBQ experience. The fact that the fuel source is not only environmentally friendly but also adds a distinct smoky flavor to the food is a huge bonus. Using different types of wood pellets to achieve specific flavors has been a joy to experiment with. Moreover, the convenience of Asmoke’s automated temperature control and pellet feeding has made BBQing a breeze. I also love the versatility of the grill, being able to use it for smoking, roasting, baking, and more. The lightweight and portable design makes it perfect for outings. And the fact that it can be used wirelessly is just the icing on the cake. #Asmoke
As a former Traeger+ user, I finally made the switch to Asmoke and I've never looked back. The versatility and convenience of Asmoke are just unbeatable. The precise temperature control that Asmoke offers really changed my BBQ game. I no longer have to worry about overcooking or undercooking my food, everything comes out perfect every time. The best part is, I can adjust the temperature remotely and keep an eye on my food through the app, which is a massive game-changer. Plus, the wood pellets provide such a unique and authentic smoky flavor that I just couldn't achieve with my old Traeger+. I've used my Asmoke for backyard BBQs, camping trips, and tailgating - it's so portable and easy to use. Switching to Asmoke has truly elevated my grilling experience. #Asmoke
Mega Video ! Toll wie viel Spaß ihr dabei habt ! Und Respekt wie ihr mit eurer wahre umgeht so liebevoll 🥰 Abo lass ich gerne da ! Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪
Really love these guys story but I think we all know how it’s going to end. Having two owners fully responsible for one store and another owner responsible for the fast food one and the other two owners set back and collect a check 4 more years tops and goldees is done
I’m a little disappointed that you did not go back in more detail on its history. No mention of some of the other key “players” at the outset. I.e. Jonny(Jirby). 👎
I was noticing the thickness of the cuts. The brisket appeared thicker than normal and the turkey was thinner. The typical cut is width of a yellow pencil. Sometimes thicker means it’s overcooked and too tender to stay together so they cut it thicker. Thinner can mean it’s undercooked and is a little tougher so they cut it thinner to seem not tender. Not sure if that’s what’s going on here. I’ve never been there personally.
Not with what they served me. Was a terrible letdown. Was glad to see Que back in Aledo where Jerry’s BBQ was years ago. Brisket was good. Ribs were good. But nothing I can’t do at home. Pork belly was great. Sides were pretty but taste was underwhelming. They were super nice folks but the food was not worth the price. 589 Hickory BBQ few miles away in Weatherford is far superior to what Dayne & Co served us. $163 for 5 people better be memorable.
Agree. But don’t blame them for jacking up prices and cashing in. Got to strike while the irons hot. There are lots of fools out there willing to be hipsters and say they paid $75 for a bbq lunch that is worth maybe $30-35.
When I got to eat at goldee's last year, some of the people in line next to me were from Colorado. We got to talking while we waited, then when we got our food we shared a table and ate together. The experience is totally worth it highly recommend
I made a trip to Texas Last month (February) just for Goldee's BBQ from NC. It was 100% worth the trip!!
Awesome
christian bale says good for you!
I was there coming from Germany. Was really great BBQ and was the last guy got something from everything. Afterwards brisket was sold out😊
Did a Houston to Dallas/Ft Worth road trip and ate at 6 Texas Monthly top BBQ spots. Goldee's was hands down the best, Cattleack a very close second.
Totally agree. Did the same. Was a coin flip for me. Cattalacks smoked pastrami ribs 🔥🔥🔥. Both great bbq joints.
Where else did you go? Id love to do a BBQ road trip ..
@@hughiemg2 KG bbq in Austin and Burnt Bean in Seguin are good stops for ya too.

In a weird way, it does tie us all together. (Food) We can all put aside our differences to share some damn good BBQ.
USA! ✊
This place is legit. That is some good BBQ. Good food & good people.
I’m the guy whose ordering at the end of the video in the audio. You may think I over ordered but you would be wrong, it’s so dang good.
I’m a part owner of Rudy’s BBQ and these guys are legit and some of my fav Q on earth. Blacks in Lockhart is my fav and my own q is third to none
Which Rudy’s?
I’m one of the other owners

@rudys is the most consistent bbq that’s franchised.
The kind of friendship what I believe in. On one accord and unity 👊🏽

Jirby is gone? Or is he just busy with Ribees?
I had the pleasure of trying Goldees in February. Incredible! Hands down the best bbq I've ever had.
Seems like he’s always at Ribee’s since it opened
Wow, everything looks amazing..
Just watching this now, cool ass story; I love BBQ'ing, smoking and grilling different stuff; someday I'll have to come visit..😉
Great job on your videos! Subscribed in Idaho!
Miss tootsie will always have the best barbecue. She attracts international customers
So does terry blacks
So does goldees
So does Franklin's.
Definitely NOT Soulman BBQ‼️
All of them does that 😂
I love this❤❤ I’m looking to open up a bbq place and this helped inspire me, their food looks amazing
I live in Chile, this is a dream for me, thanks
Roasted sprouts are fire.
Hungry as now I'm going there when I go to the states ❤
Pit bbq turkey is such a criminally underrated meat.

Goldees does look delicious. The best I’ve had so far is Franklin and that was so damn good. So much Brisket. I loved it.
I've never heard of this place... seriously better rated than Franklin's in Austin??? gonna have to come thruuuuu
Amazing how far they've gone

Woldee's ! Great video!

The secret is there's no secret.
The most basic thing they have to get 100% right is top notch sourced meats. All else follows from that. Both have to be at a stellar level.
Im in southern California and I want to drive there right now 😅
Thanks for the video. Hope the gold medal clip was all good on the copyright.

What is in the rib glaze?
The guy doing the video looks like he really wants some friends
How do you know?
Maybe he does. I hope he finds some.
banger video🔥
Where is Jirby?
Maybe Jirby is so busy with Ribbee’s opening that he has no time for Goldee’s. Didn’t think of this.

It’s definitely delicious those barbecue meat, but not for everyone who have health issues, must eat them moderately

Do you want to know something about indoor smokeless smart barbecue machine for home use ?
Ffs just like animes..."power of friendship" but irl
Best barbecue in Texas? Riiiiiight.
'best' is relative and subjective. It's daaaaaaaaamn good though. In my top three that I've experienced as a native Texan.
You sound a little jealous.
Absolutely in my top 3 US wide
How does this compares to franklins?
Where's Jonny?
Wheres Jirby gone?
So where is Johnny ??
That place was a lot better when they had their pitmaster Chuck. She went on her own when the owners wouldn't make her a partner.
Where did she go?
She started Barbs.B.Q in Lockhart
She learned how to cook briskets from Jirby so i doubt their quality has gone down at all
@@jmf420 Isn't Jirby focusing on Ribee's now? His spinoff new Rib place?

Any reason you didn't mention Ribees or Barbs? Jirby and Chuck were factors in Goldee's success, but you didn't mention them at all. 🤔
The video wasn't about them.
