First honest wagyu farm video ive ever seen. Everyone always denies feeding them alcohol feed etc and wont show them the pens etc etc. these dudes just showed everything.
I still don’t get it?! Nothing explained how
@@philhowell8682 well, it makes the animals more chilled and alcohol has almost as much calories as fat, while reducing muscle and connective tissue building, aka it helps get super tender, mrbeled meat, also the more the cows rest intead of stand and walk, the more tender
Everything except the slaughter part...hmm
@@maxschmidt9461 wagyu marbeling is intramuscular and genetic not from drinking alcohol lol
Also, maybe the other farm does not feed beer and sake. Different farm different ways of raising cows right?

Chef Hama's energy is infectious ❤ what a legend
This entire video was SOOO cool, i can only imagine how much work it was to make this entire video! Just when I thought each part couldn't get better, it DID. The last bit of the chef preparing you the different meals was AMAZING
That chef was frickin awesome. Hilarious and you can tell definitely a master of his craft.
Estoy triste porque hoy es mi cumpleaños y no tuve ningún suscriptor 😔 ❤😢 ❤

His voice too, it so calming yet so Deep
I love how respectful and nice the contestants were after Nick won the Auction. I bet in most auctions in the world that would've been different.
Yeah, I attended a classic car auction with a friend once and when he won the car...some boomer followed us to the Parking lot to curse us out later.
Thankfully, most auctions are actually very peaceful and respectful, but some ppl get too attached to what they bid on, it is what it is.
The Japanese are all about honor and respect. They take losing in stride. As long as you play fair, your opponent will respect you and never be a sore loser.
To my understanding, a lot of the Japanese citizens disliked Hirohito.
@@nahor88 This is an absolutely wild and uninformed comment. The Japanese loved Hirohito as they believed him to be a figure close to their God. Also, Hirohito didn't really have a major decision making role in the war and was mostly controlled by the general Hideki Tojo. And that whole thing about Japanese culture and "taking losing in stride" really makes me think your knowledge about Japan comes from anime and a propaganda poster.
@@CrankyConniver Cool story bro.

Missed opportunity to name the video "How wagyu is made (from stable to table)"
Holy shit godly joke
W comment
The AI translator would translate that with some meaning like "How wagyu is made (from stability to spreadsheet)".
This video came out of nowhere on my Homepage and it was totally worth every second watching it!!!!!!!!

I love Japan! The love for perfection, the humbleness of the people, the quality of everything, it's just wonderful!
The energy of the chef was so delightful! Total bliss to watch!
This was quite honestly the most informative and entertaining videos on wagyu beef I've ever watched. 10/10 would recommend lol
Guys, no, this is not how wagyu is made. Most of the time. There are huge corporations and factory farms killing cows, not barns like this one. And 500 cows is WAY too many for a barn that size.
@sofiayeah92 Well yes, but it says that 'THIS IS ONE OF MANY OTHER BARNS'
Tho yes, most beef isn't raised that way....;(
@@simonPARK-lv8fi we have no idea if that’s true or not, the multiple barns. He killed his own chicken raised from birth, so I would not put shit after him

The level of detail in raising Wagyu cattle is truly astounding. The attention they receive is unmatched, given the quality of the beef they produce. The artistry of the butchers stood out, they seem to have a deep reverence for the meat they handle.

You've put a lot of work in this video, Nick, and you've delivered so much value and information not accessible to ordinary folks like us. Thank you!!
I agree , a really good video for once. Great interactions and chefs!
Love your videos Nick. Keep up the good work. I am currently battling leukemia and dreaming of eating an A5 steak. Beef is one of the only things that I can eat right now that doesn't upset my stomach while I'm on chemotherapy.
It is the best i have ever seen! Keep up your great job! Nick

10:56 he says Wagyu is one of his most favorites and then is saying “Mai-Ni-Chi”which which means every day but it’s cute how Nick thinks he’s saying “Munch”

The wagyu cow/bull has one of the most expensive seed to produce more wagyu offsprings, hence the security
That was amazing! Thank you Nick! I have been wanting to go to Japan 😢
I been a fan since 2021 I like all of your videos
You made best choice for the Chef. He is awesome😂
Such honest claims in this vid. Never seen one this detailed and smoothing to watch. 😅❤
Nick that was great especially the ending! The pens for the cows...eh, didn't look much different from what I was raised around, hay, poop, food, water...there is something different like real genetics. But it was definitely nice to see the real process. That was the first video for me, start to finish.
I like the honorable guy to the left who shook Nick's hand after winning. Respect.
Brilliant video.. enjoyed the details of it
That was such a cool video! My heart was racing for you when you won the cow! Congrats Nick!😭
Holy cow that is so cool! Learned so much ! Thank you Nick!

Glad to see you supporting agriculture it means a lot to us farmers and ranchers
100%
I own mini jersey cows but I don't eat them and just get their milk for cheese and butter. I'm love them like family. So far, none of them has died in my 8 years of cow herding. I hear they're tasty but I'm hate killing animals so I'm sticking my diet to milk, butter and cheese sadly.
I would love to try A5 Wagyu. Amazing video and amazing to see how its all produced. Really lets you appreciate a quality peace of meat so much more!
Man I wanna try it so so so badly 😢😢😢
Go for it when you have the opportunity! I had a chance to try it and it really is something special. I always thought that it was gonna just taste a bit better than a regular steak, but there is really nothing to compare the taste of proper wagyu meat with.
I subscribing because I personally flown to Kobe just to taste a $200 piece of kobe beef (I think it was only 200grams) in a Teppenyaki restaurant.
You reminded me of the good experience.
Would do anything just to have that good savory , juicy taste when it melts in the mouth again!
I really appreciate that he didn't miss the opportunity to say "holy cow"! XD
