I am glad your pan-am trip isn’t going to be a one-off adventure. As an overlander in little New Zealand at the opposite end of the Pacific, I have learnt that for me, richness comes from having contrasting experiences, and that time at home with some 4wding in the local hills and reconnecting with friends and social groups is as important as being on the road and exploring the remote parts of my country.
Very well said. And we must agree. Sure it felt strange and sad being home for the first couple weeks, but now we’ve fallen back in love with the place that started it all and we’re ready to keep going 🫡
Thank you for the chills and feels, you guys are the real deal. So cool to see you back home and hitting the ground running. Looking forward to seeing you every Thursday.
I watched the entire South America Series as my brother-in-law is making a similar trip and is currently in Columbia so your videos will be super inspiring to him. You and he have inspired me to get out there so fingers crossed I will. Thank you for everything you two do, amazing.
You two have became great adventure storytellers.. there is probably only a dozen like you.. one at the top of my head is TSTN.. also from Canada.. EFRT.. also from Canada.. From the top of my heart I want to thank you for keeping my adventure spirit alive.. At 74 there is still much to explore..
Can't believe how sad it made me watching Sunday being sent out on the high seas alone 😥 - all will be good in the world when he joins you again in Canada. I know there is another Adventure in the making, and so proud of what you two have accomplished. As always - much love 💚
Welcome back to Vancouver Island!!! The adventure never really ends, can't wait to see what you 2 get up to in the future. I need to do the pan-american now.
I enjoyed your travels sooo much! But It’s time to spend time with the families and think about whats to come and Hope too see you Thursday in our living rooms 😅🙌👍
Absolutely love all you guys do! I have never been more excited then to see that isuzu trooper with you! I daily drive a jdm diesel conversion one here in the US. Quite a good rig in many aspects.
Hello from the sunny south Okanagan where we seem to be getting a couple nicer days finally. Good to see you made it back home in one piece. If you two ever wander out this way, drop me a line and the Tickleberries ice cream, coffee or what have you is on me. Safe travels you two.
There is always a letdown after an epic, lengthy adventure, especially for those who support you, watch you or follow you. But sometimes there's a letdown for the adventurers too. How could there not be? You two strike me as the type of folk that won't experience much of a letdown. I hope that is true for you individually and as a couple. Godspeed and looking forward to what comes next.
You are going to be in for one hell of a culture shock back home. I know first hand as a fellow Canuck. Eventually I just stopped going back and stayed down South
great to see you back guys, lookin forward to the highs and lows,as i said before when you were chasing the season in Argentina you guys rock, stay safe till next time
I was so stoked to see you guys (and Yeti) pop up on another guy's video the other day and even more stoked to see you put something out. While I can't wait to see what your next adventure is, I'm sure you guys need to decompress for a bit and just get your feet back under you. Having home feel out of place is a really odd feeling, but one all travelers have felt. Good news on my end in that I'm leaving NC for WY and ID for two months of outdoor adventure and fun. No real plan or schedule other than going to a music festival in Yellow Pine Idaho (pop 32) in early August. The road has been calling for far too long and the stars have finally aligned. As Jerry Garcia famously sang "What a long, strange trip it's been".
Thank you for the impressive way you talk about your trip and your projects. It's refreshingly different from the boring Van Live people who can only talk about cooking and shopping. Of course, this is also part of Van Live, but travel reports should primarily be about the journey and not about everyday life. Anyone who travels knows that well enough. Nobody makes vlogs about the supermarket around the corner, or? Many thanks and best wishes from Germany
Was lucky enough to bump in to these legends on this trip while I was out exploring on my dual sport with some friends. I’ve been following along since before the pandemic and although the trip to South America made for some epic viewing I’m a big fan of the local content !! The Alaska trip sounds great. Tuktoyaktuk is a must do trip as well. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you two. Hopefully will run in to you again some time. Safe travels 🛻
been here for a while. when I got my first truck binged videos of the yeti. even drove from Vancouver to Ellensburg Washington to get a wildernest of my own. (blew my 3.0 on the way home) since then ive had a 85 pickup, 80 series, and now I have a ln106. so excited to see the blue pickup again
Ok maybe I'm biased but this could be some of your best work! The style and the anticipation you build. Ok maybe they're just old logging roads or maybe they're actually an open invitation to see the real world. Either way I'm so stoked for my own Northern Canada overland expedition, and looking forward to your upcoming videos more than ever. Keep making videos that are this much fun to watch and you'll be the best overlanding channel in no time.
Welcome back l’m from Sechelt subd watched yr adventure 😮 nice waterfalls great adventures couldn’t wait till next vid 😮 Your great story research meeting good people everybody fixes tor p/u 🥃🍻 fantastic vids story’s watching thirsty Thursday 🍻🤘🏻good background 🎸🔊😎

Can't believe how sad it made me watching Sunday being sent out on the high seas alone 😥 - all will be good in the world when he joins you again in Canada. I know there is another Adventure in the making, and so proud of what you two have accomplished. As always - much love 💚
If we could go in the container with him, I think we would 😂

Tickberries ice cream sounds like something everyone should try at least once! Thank you and we hope we’re in the area soon!

There’s for sure a bit of “travel depression” but we knew that would only fuel us to get back at it!
You are going to be in for one hell of a culture shock back home. I know first hand as a fellow Canuck. Eventually I just stopped going back and stayed down South
Hahha culture shock is an understatement! I’m pretty sure we need a house in Colombia
@@ToyotaWorldRunners that's where I am. The Ecuador coast is gorgeous too but so dangerous at the moment. That will all change soon though.
I'm wearing your "Live free or die trying" shirt and find this ready to watch. Love this shirt, it's so soft.

No doubt the culture shock coming home from your 17 month adventure. Yeti is a beauty have fun!
It’s taken almost a month for it to feel normal haha
Nothing like seeing triple peak on the cover of this channel, not long after seeing Fitz Roy.
It feels weird for us too haha
