      With the engine running, bike in first gear and clutch in, the bike rolls in walking pace. I have no problems with stalling during takeoff or while changing gears. Another noticeable thing is that I can't get it into neutral when it's running.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! The yz450 takes about 850cc of oil to reach the oil level check bolt. As you may know, the glass window is a low level window and it even says low right beside it. But 850 cc of oil will get you right to the full check bolt and it where I suggest running it. These oil filters on these bikes drain most of thier oil out and back to the bottom of the motor if the motor has been sitting for a few hours. 850cc is good with both changing the filter and not, as long as its been sitting for a few hours

    Hey so on the 2021 yz250f on the clutch plates they have 3 groves around each clutch plate. I’m not sure if you have worked on a yz250 yet but if you have are they all supposed to be lined up with each other. On the 450s they don’t have the 3 groves on the fiber plates

    • @UpAllNight91

      @@ogloc119 Depends who you ask lol. I'm not even kidding you either. Some people get upset if you dont use a torque wrench on every single bolt no matter how much experience you have. If you trust your hands you will be ok doing it by hand. The bolts for the clutch springs dont need to be too tight or you can snap the clutch inner hub, and the center nut is kinda thin so too much torque is not good for it but it does need a fair amount of torque to hold well.

    Hello, thanks for the video. I have a 2011 and bought oem clutch kit and just ripped open all bags of friction plates and soaked the over night and randomly put all friction plates on and metal plates w/o the grooved end toward motor. after resembled everything the bike doesn't disengage all the way with clutch pulled in. so after throwing away all bags the friction plates came in is there a way to tell which plates are which? I also tried adjusting cable and it is all the way out and tried prying (gently) the clutch lever on the motor and it won't pull in anymore so i'm assuming the order of friction plates and the beveled edge towards motor is crucial??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

      @UpAllNight91  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. I think if you measure the thickness of the fiber plates with a micrometer there is a measurable difference between the ones with different part numbers. But even if you got that wrong, as long as its fiber, steal, fiber arrangement it should at least work. Because yours is not disengaging I'm guessing there's more wrong inside there than just fibers out of arrangement. I would pull the clutch back out. Try to measure them and get the arrangement right, then reinstall. After installing clutch plates but before putting the clutch cover back on, adjust the clutch lever and pull the clutch in while observing the clutch pressure plate. Does the plate raise up off the clutch stack a millimeter or two while pulling in the lever? If so you should be good, if not then something is missing or not right in the clutch push rod/pressure plate area, check again
