I have a 2021 WR250F here in Australia , I have used a Magura hydraulic clutch on my old WR250F but after installing a Rekluse CX3 Radius auto clutch its not even neccesary to have a lever . I have a hydraulic LH master cylinder and brake lever on the LHS plumbed directly to the rear brake with brake pedal removed . It is amazing how good it is and takes the workload off the rider when racing .
I did the Hymec on my ‘17 YZ250FX. It was great, loved it. Just as good if not better than the cable. I put on a few good hours and then sold the bike for a smoker. Loved the FX. I recommend this thing.
I run the gen2 hymec magura on my steely wr450f. Added the moose shorty lever and it all actuates a torque drive recluse. This turned a tractor brute into a very manageable honey badger. *Slow is smooth... Smooth is fast. 🤘🤠👍

I have a stock clutch on my 19 YZ250FX and it is just as easy if not easier to pull than any hydraulic clutch I've pulled on I wouldn't change it for anything
I love my Magura! It makes the bike so much more enjoyable to ride. Make sure to change the fluid every once in awhile or you can blow a seal in the slave cylinder, found that one out the hard way

It is very close, but I haven’t had any problems. I’ve done 3 races with it and no issues. The mineral oil boiling point is about 600 degrees f. The 450 may put out more heat.
The aftermarket levers fit. I’m running a Moose lever because it’s shorter than the original. Most husqvarna dirt bikes use the same type lever so they’re pretty easy to find. Thanks for watching!

It either has air in the system or you need to shim the slave cylinder. Look at the slave cylinder while you pull the lever. The slave cylinder rod should start moving immediately when you move the lever. If it doesn’t there is air in the system.
@Dirt Biking with Donnie Rocky Mountain, send me the same part # as the one you have on the video, I think the only one thats different is for the WR250/450f, for the FX and regular F are same part #, ill play with it a little more and see if I can get it to work, but its frustrating for sure, Thx for the reply!

Ok problem solved, just talked directly with a Magura Tech, the free play has to be from 4/6mm,due that they dont have a slave for the FX or the F in a kit, I had to add washers to get to that free spacing and now it works good,so far. Are you still able to pull the clutch in and still leave fingers on the bars (fingers between the lever and the bars, like smashing them almost)? I use 1 or 2 fingers with my clutch cable setup now. But, at the end of the day my fingers get sore. I see maybe a hydro clutch in my future. I've been on the fence, Lol. Thanks for the video Donnie.
Yes, I use my middle finger only for the clutch. You can adjust freeplay with the provided washers (that's why I used all 3) and you can adjust at the lever as well. I can completely disengage the clutch with 3 fingers still on the grip.
moving your lever in does wonders and avoids smashing fingers when using proper 1 or 2 finger pull. I also have friends who cut the end of the lever off to to clear your outer fingers.
You could combine the just the Magura slave & clutch line with the Clake One Light clutch master cylinder. Added cost but the Clake is very well reviewed and can halve a hydraulic clutch pull.
