Okay so I think I was a bit off with my £100 estimate but it’s still relatively low priced when you think most scanners with this capability are £1000s
Ya doin ya best George. Can't help inflation!! lol Lot of scammers out there selling these tools though, so the word is, "Be careful & do your homework before making any purchase", because cheap ain't always best!!... Just spotted this company, while doing a Google search......... "Bavarian Dominator - Review Centre"
I have refilled the additive fluid on my 2009 Volvo V70 1.6 diesel EcoDrive, but the car is still warning that the fluid is low. I have tried clearing the fault codes, but they keep coming back. I’m wondering how to reset the fluid counter using a LAUNCH CRP919X. Could you advise on how to proceed?
Working for a popular breakdown company, I use a Bosch diagnostic scanner every day. Mostly for reading codes, looking at live data, force regens etc, to sort most things that go wrong at the roadside. Our kit is like £2.5k, but by the looks of it that launch can do all that? Crazy. Is that request regen a forced regen too?
I bought a crp919e 10 months ago for the price i paid for it does alot of functions im happy with it only problem its wired but the new crp919bt has bluetooth.
Seems expensive, guess you’ve gotta spend a few quid for a decent scan tool but always hoped you would get something like this for something like 150 notes. Would love to know how you got hold of ista/whatever it’s called and how much that would cost for the average joe to get hold of 👍
Ista isn't difficult to get. Ista is difficult to learn and use. It's not difficult if you have worked ten years with solving technical problems on cars.
I got bmw 630i 2008 model, millage 82k 6 months ago. Since I bought, it has rough idle when the engine is cold and no fault codes coming at all. Is there any help before I set a fire to the car, please 😂? Things are I did so far • Cleaned the injectors. • Cleaned the throttle body. • Changed all spark plugs. • Changed all ignition coils. • Changed Mas air sensor. • Cleaned Solenoid sensor. • Changed O2 the sensors. Even, I went to the church for pray:-) but the problem is still the same. Thanks in advance.
@@GeorgeAustersVery good question. Not really, the garage checked one time and it's show missfire on cylinders 5 and 6. He changed spark plugs, ignition coils and cleaned the throttle body but notting change. He checked the injectors and said they r ok. Rest of the work, I did it myself. Is it possible to book an appointment from you, if u r from London? Many thanks.
Hi George. Im a regular viewer and subscriber of your channel and always like your posting!:-) Which of the two diagnostic tools would you recommend, i.e Launch CRP919X or TOPDON ArtiDiag Pro?
Hey George, see if Thinkcar (Thinkdiag Pro) will send you something. I've been using it off and on, and I keep coming back to it for depth, ease of use, and price.
£100 find me one that price, £469 cheapest one I can find. No wonder it’s all singing and dancing with loads of options. Check prices correct before doing a review.😂
Nice review but should have clicked your own link, shame about the price. I was looking at the Foxwell NT510 elite for my older Z3M as I believe you need an old laptop with a serial port to communicate with inpa
This is exactly the problem, and for 500 it doesn't solve all problems. As everything goes forward, I would love to see a list in the description box what it does and WHAT IT DOESN'T, if we consider "the most common and interesting things". George should have a check list of what you need to get info about and what problems you can solve. One "big" problem is that you need to have the interval of the values of all sensor, to know if they are faulty or not. This is the start! After reading the fault codes.
@@GeorgeAusters I’m certainly not doubting it’s very good but I got excited when you mentioned it was around £100. I could not justify its real cost for the three cars we have in the family and how rarely I would use it

Glad you are impressed and that makes me feel good indeed. 😀

More like £376
Just gotta be careful from where you make a purchase!!! Check out...... bavarian dominator scan tools.......😯

Yes it is brilliant. I bought one in August 2022 and it has been very cool.

Correct!

Just got the 919E, it does key coding, speed limit removal and mileage adjustment. Great bit of kit for 290 squids of fleabay
Good stuff!
Is the 919E also a LAUNCH scanner..?
@@Lilbigpoppa1 Yes.
Can it code LM2 Module from E60 to get that US Sidemarkers always on?
Also auto mirror folding?
That "basic" stuff in BMWs?
Yes
Just a bit off. £100 ................ dream on. More like £400!! What is the difference between this X and the E version?
As this scan tool also costs about 500 £, how is it compered to others at the same price tag? Which is the best one in this class?
Does this scanner record screen or take screenshots?
Do they have the VTG recalibration option (transfer case ) in that scanner
Thanks
Yes I believe so
I did not know those were little bags of sugar I have been throwing them away for years. Dang it.
😂
Nice video.. What is your advice for small workshop..
Autel mx808s or thinktool lite or launch x431 crp919x
Thank you
Autel MX 900, the 808 is way too slow, Launch are ok too, LAUNCH X431 CRP919E Elite OBD2 Scanner, 2023 on par with MX900, prefer Autel as a company.
Hi mate ref 760li secondary air injection delete are u selling the blanks pls your old man can make

Hey George, do you know if this tool can make an e65/66 dance (initialize the ARS - Dynamic Drive)?
Not sure but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did
I agree, not cheap at that price 😮

Mate, it’s not £99 it’s £469……what you like 🤦♂️
£313 will get you one.
Seems you can do a compression test without any kit using the scan tool...other scan tools have this now
How much 100 quid its £469 pound

If I’m honest both seemed on par with each other in terms of functionality so maybe compare the specs of both👍🏻

Look for the CRP919E EU version
This dude sells em cheaper, if You want to chance it !!😯 Google search >> "Bavarian Dominator - Review Centre"
Can you correct mileage with that diagnostic?
I’m not sure
Lol roll back
You should try how powerful it is when it comes to coding

So how does it match up to the TopDon u recently reviewed
Pretty similar I’ve found
I would expect it to do all that for £469! 😳

To be fair, most professional scanners are over £1000 now

£299 online
Can’t u use Ista to do the same thing?
Ffs I went to order one after watching your video, very disappointed that it's not £100 😂
Yeah I've noticed prices have gone up quite a bit but then so have the top of the range scanners too.. They are £1000s now
I have Bluetooth version. It can't do more than a $100 tool. I was going to send it back.
Can it reset the ews ?
Yes
Disappointed it's not £100 😢
LoL.
Creader elite is more portable……
Budget friendly... I don't think so!
