I personally know a shady ass foo with a shady ass company. One thing that stood out to me here was that they always change company names, horrible customer service & try to sue people 😂.. RUN AWAY FAST
Well for Christs sake?? They were trying to sue you?, for what? Any court in the land would laugh these idiots out of the room. They decided to send it to you, you didn’t ask for it. Basically unless there was a contract it was “a gift”. I applaud you for being honest and the problem is as I have found out some people don’t like honesty and the truth being told. Yes I am subscribed to your channel and I enjoy the information you give and so, so many people have benefited from your honest advice and demonstrations. It sounded like you were being press ganged to do as you were told as if you were a little boy. Through your advice I was guided correctly to purchase a scanner for my X5 40d M sport E53 and now I use it on my M50d g05. And believe you me it’s outstanding for what I need and want. I did as you said. Plug your scanner in to check the car before you buy and if they don’t like it. “ Tuff” walk away. They were happy so obviously there wasn’t anything to hide. You can have all the models on that scan tool , you need a 32 gb mini sd card to store them, there is only 2 gb of storage on the tool , definitely not enough space for all car manufacturers
Dean, I remember your Thinkcar review and because of that video I ended up buying the THINKOBD 100 code scanner instead. I'm a DIYer (and a tight-fisted Yorkshireman) so I couldn't justify spending all that money. Looks like I dodged a bullet on that score. I ended up buying the Topdon ArtiDiag 800BT for a good price. I've noticed that the Thinkcar/Mucar products seem to have the same software layout as the Topdon products. This VO6 seems to be the same as my ArtiDiag 800BT.
is topdon the same company or are they independant from this lot. I've looked at the topdon but there is so much confusion over what updates have to be paid for etc. they always say free for life but turns out to be the basic features and you have to pay for the better bits. I got a basic topdon topscan in the end and it's app based on the phone and it seems ok for the money. I sold my ethos edge because it was overkill and I only ever used one extended function one time

That’s what I was expecting as soon as I made the video 😡 they will probably put it back on Amazon in a few weeks knowing them. That’s how they are.
So apart from going on for ever about being sued, or not as the case may be, is this kit any good? Would you recommend another scanner for my Beemer?
Using a thinkcar thinkdiag+ bidirectional obd2 for my bmw.
The customer service is not the best. Also in the past i couldn't use it with my Android 12 samsung phone for 5 months or so (i had to use my old mobile).
The last few months with the latest software update ,it works with my Android 12 phone flawlessly.
As soon as you get familiar with the software interface, it is usefull for reset engine adaptations, register new battery, steering angle, injector coding, read/clear faults, watch live obd data like fuel trims, fuel pressure etc.
I paid 80 euros including shipping from ebay with 1 year software for 1 brand (bmw). In my opinion for the price is really good.
BMW DOCTOR: I am looking forward for your suggestion on a similar/better bidirectional obd2 bluetooth android compatible interface with the same functions for about the same amount of money.

These muppets just caused problems with me over a device that i got and it worked fine and had some awesome features then the muppets released a update to the car packs and app ans these features just dissapeared .. they tried to say they didnt and that my device was to blame as is broken.. and then they tried to say my 1 month old from new device is over a year old and out of warranty.. i have all the file dumps of the car packs.. the app and also videos of me using the features that their software engineers deleted in the update... im going to do a video soon exposing these muppets, what model i am using, all the emails where they try to lie to me , the videos of the features that they removed.. what they are doing is basic fraud...
So is this any good ? I’m wanting a scanner like this for our 3 BMW’s if this is not good can you tell me what is please Dean ?

I wouldn’t say that. Just wait and see what I have coming out very soon you may regret saying that. The customer service is bad very bad for thinkcar and they have had more returns in the last year then any other scan tool company. Sorry but the thinkcar pro is crap TOPDON PHOENIX PLUS is much better and the customer service is fantasic and I have a video of that on my channel, go and check it out.
100% the platinum s10 is the USA version the pros is global version. Thinkcar makes TopDon software
That’s incorrect very incorrect. TOPDON was around long before thinkcar, and TOPDON actually provide the software to thinkcar. I been working with TOPDON for over 2 years and I know all there ins and outs and I can tell you now please prove this fact to me that thinkcar make it for topdon because I know that is complete utter crap. Thinkcar hit the market after topdon and I have all of them so I know very well about both company’s.

Mucar / Thinkcar / Thinktool / Ancel - all the same sh*t. My Mucar unit had very little memory, so it could not load / update all the manufacturers / maintenance apps that I wanted - waste of time. I'm based in the USA, so I don't need all the China vehicles - still only managed about half of the other Euro / USA / Japanese manufacturers. Customer service is absolutely trash - mistakenly set wrong time zone and initially didn't know how to change it (figured it out later), but their customer service wanted all information (where bought, serial #, etc.) which they should have gotten when I initially registered the product.
Will this be able to code ECU? I seen various of your videos and getting confused what is the best tool all round that allow you to code and is within the £500 mark. Thank you for the advice

TOPDON isn't available in Canada unfortunately. If you need a bidirectional scanner, what else would you recommend for a good price?

You shouldn't try mucar cde900 its pure trash after expanding memory size to 256 and purchasing 28 reset functionality till datethose functions dont work even after sending feedback to their engineers at thinkcar. Its a money pit
Cde900 was good then they removed heaps of functions from the car packs and app in their last shity update...
