I bought this scanner Launch 123x but it when I do health check on my 2012Toyota Camry, it doesn't scan the transmission so I can't check the fluid temperature like you show on your video

Can this scanner reset the transmission fluid values? As far as I know, it is taken care of when changing the CVT fluid.
Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan fpr Fuel Pressure ? And can this do compression test ?

I am new to this but my 7yrs old Subaru XV had a CVT warmer failure, I was shocked, cost me USD$300 to change it in Singapore.. but I was forced to believe the workshop as I am helpless to verify anything they said...
So at least with this tool as long as the CVT fluid warms up to the required temp, you may or may not need to change that CVT warmer or you can get world wide advise on social media.

Hi, what is the corelation between transmission fluid temperature and changing it? If the fluid temp is rising, don't we need to change fluid? Thank you!
CVT fluid will expand in volume when warm (hot). That's why the manufacturer specify to check fluid level at a specific temperature range. That's also why there is no more dipstick to check fluid level. The OBD scan tool will show when you have reached the correct fluid temp and then you can check fluid level.

134 degrees F for cvt temperature in the short time that it was running? Is that accurate? Is it live temp reading? I’m not so sure.

This device advertises misleading spec on 16gb ROM. Actual size is less than 12gb. Go to settings and select storage and it will show the real storage size.
That's because the rest of the space is reserved for the operating system just like in your phone

I bought one from a seller on EBay, US Seller. A year ago I’ve had no issues with it. It’s a great tool for diagnosing issues with just about any vehicle. You can select and go live with it while the engine is running and do your diagnostics that way as well.
