There's an option left and it's the safest. Buy/3D print a mini dock. Those are just the plastic case for the circuit. You'll have to open your original dock and move the circuitry to the new mini dock.

A bit late, but in my experience it's not
I get a warning on my switch that iirc is the same warning that ppl get before their switch bricks itself, just to clarify, my charger is a 65w charger that can automatically limit itself to 45w for switch, and I've used the same charger to charge the switch regularly dockless
