Hey Vinny, I am so happy to see you again. You should not feel that the depressive or mopey moods ar something that you cannot share with us. I think that is one of the most beautiful parts of this VIP community as a whole. We all have so much in common and trust me, depressive and low moods are just part of life. I have been going through very similar emotions which I call my seasonal affective disorder, summertime blues. It happens just about this time every year and I truly understand that when you are feeling this way, it is difficult to do any thing that is positive or productive. I often think that just picking up the camera and sharing my feelings might be productive but then, for whatever reason, I just don’t have it in me.. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy videoing fun activities and blind issues and celebrations and things like that but you are doing an awesome service by truly sharing your feelings and keeping it real, because you really are such a genuine person and I still believe that everything you have uploaded has benefited our VIP community, even this video just explaining the brief absence and how you were feeling. Vincent! Hi! Smiley! Omigoodness I understand having to deal with shelter emergencies! Also sometimes coming out of being swamped tending to a deadline of many things, or even just being more under the weather than usual, can make it feel really shaky getting back out and about like your usual self. Even after a lot of years, I still step out sometimes and feel like I'm completely new to navigation again. It doesn't take very long to feel just fine at getting around again, it can feel very overwhelming for a little bit though. True I think what your realization was about not having ventured as much for a spell. Venturing out to a different activity can really make a difference in how our internal psychological perception is skewing. That's why the bigger variety of people and places the better. I get down about not feeling like I'm getting anything done sometimes even when I really am, or that it's not enough, even when it truly was all that I could diligently get done in as many hours as I could stay awake, which is always longer than I'd ever expect anyone else to stay awake. I've heard several of a lot of friends talking about this uneasy feeling of not being able to keep up, and many of them are doing very well in terms of over all security. It's a cultural thing that we're all in lately, with all the pros and cons of technical "advances." I keep thinking of that old Mel Brooks movie, High Anxiety, which helps me laugh a little during my own. I learned last night that there is a new bonafide job that I have all the requirements for and could possibly apply on Zip Recruiter! Yes! Mermaiding, is a real job. I heard about it on the Brain Stuff podcast! Turned my hopeless feeling of ever getting a job right around, because I do naturally already have all the skills. I've already been doing for free for years, because it helps me feel well and calm and happy! Who knew?

I did not even think I was going to be able to handle doing all this tree limbs and brush. but I managed my way through it and figured it all out with the help of my family and friendly neighbors. All of it has come with its fair share of injuries. Lol my wife was telling me my shins on both legs look like garbage. Lol we have to do what we have to do. I love those Funko pops. I just never really bought them cuz they ended up getting too expensive. However, you can find them now all the time on clearance. I actually got my first two couple weeks back. Star wars ones of course! And yes getting a slump is horrible cuz it's hard to get out of. But we all make our way through in the end. Hey Vincent! Glad to hear you made it through all the challenges of this summer. We all missed you, but I can super relate. My long term disability has gone so stupidyly sideways, it's stressed me out so bad and I am still broke. I am moving onto a better use of my time, applying for Person With Disability status in my province in Canada. For a while there I was so worried abut my mental health, I asked my boyfriend to bring me into psychiatric emercengey services to help me deal with the stress. We live far enough away from there that I recovered enough of my own strength, but that doesn't negate the hard times |I esperienced getting to that point.
Well I hope everything is going well for you. Hate to hear that you've been having these issues. Sounds to me like you have more issues than the Cosmopolitan magazine. Lol just kidding thought you would like that joke. I hope it made you laugh! I know the stresses of finances and losing things that just barely keep you on your feet can be hard to deal with. Yes well I'm glad somebody else with LHON has some of the same experiences as I. The blue blotches come back each and every day now, but I have just made them everyday part of my life. They're not huge or anything sometimes I even forget about them and don't really notice them until I really concentrate on them. Lol but the one thing that gets me all the time especially in the summer is when I go outside and I come inside my house and everything is beat red. Now I wonder if that happens to you as well. The house that the tree fell on I do not live there any longer. it was a house we were renting before the purchase of our new home now. when we purchased our new home we knew there was trees that had potential to fall on our new home. The home inspector told us we would have to remove those trees. After a year of living in the house we finally had the trees removed but the deal was we had to remove all of them for a cheaper price. when the tree fell on the old house it was 2 weeks before the closing on my new house. The owners of that house had homeowners insurance and fixed the house up like new. Now it is being rented out to a new family. however, we did have a lot of help from friends and family at the time of the ordeal. It pays to treat people good because when you're kind others kindness comes back to you tenfold. Thanks for concern Ryan but feel assured that my home now Is free from any threat on a tree. Just have to worry about planes and satellites. Lol

I love those Funko pops. I just never really bought them cuz they ended up getting too expensive. However, you can find them now all the time on clearance. I actually got my first two couple weeks back. Star wars ones of course!
And yes getting a slump is horrible cuz it's hard to get out of. But we all make our way through in the end. Can't wait to start getting some new notifications for some videos on your channel soon. Hey Vincent! Glad to hear you made it through all the challenges of this summer. We all missed you, but I can super relate. My long term disability has gone so stupidyly sideways, it's stressed me out so bad and I am still broke. I am moving onto a better use of my time, applying for Person With Disability status in my province in Canada. For a while there I was so worried abut my mental health, I asked my boyfriend to bring me into psychiatric emercengey services to help me deal with the stress. We live far enough away from there that I recovered enough of my own strength, but that doesn't negate the hard times |I esperienced getting to that point.

Yes well I'm glad somebody else with LHON has some of the same experiences as I.
The blue blotches come back each and every day now, but I have just made them everyday part of my life. They're not huge or anything sometimes I even forget about them and don't really notice them until I really concentrate on them. Lol
but the one thing that gets me all the time especially in the summer is when I go outside and I come inside my house and everything is beat red. Now I wonder if that happens to you as well. Too much sun and everything is not only dark but blood red. Takes forever to go away. Thank you for the comment have a blessed week.

Vincent Grasso My Visually Impaired Life Yes, but I’m sorry to hear about your house. Are you able to start a go fund me to help raise money to make repairs because of the tree?
The house that the tree fell on I do not live there any longer. it was a house we were renting before the purchase of our new home now.
when we purchased our new home we knew there was trees that had potential to fall on our new home. The home inspector told us we would have to remove those trees. After a year of living in the house we finally had the trees removed but the deal was we had to remove all of them for a cheaper price.
when the tree fell on the old house it was 2 weeks before the closing on my new house. The owners of that house had homeowners insurance and fixed the house up like new. Now it is being rented out to a new family.
however, we did have a lot of help from friends and family at the time of the ordeal. It pays to treat people good because when you're kind others kindness comes back to you tenfold. Thanks for concern Ryan but feel assured that my home now Is free from any threat on a tree. Just have to worry about planes and satellites. Lol
